So Long, Uncle Walter!
Out of pure exasperation caused by inane and mindless bloggers like me, and the New Media in general, I'm guessing, Uncle Walter Cronkite announced today that he is hanging it up; throwing the yellow pad away and turning off his computer (http://www.reuters.com/printerFriendlyPopup.jhtml?type=peopleNews&storyID=5989657) never to write again! Thanks, Mr. Cronkite, for finally retiring. It's about time your replacement retired as well, but I digress.
How appropriate that he would retire on the very day I take up blogging. My little contribution to the new media here is likely to run the gamut of my vast store of knowledge on any given day wherein my knowledge build-up reaches toxic levels and screams out for release. Today isn't one of those days, but it's a start!
