Zell Miller: "The valuable things are missing"
In a NewsMax piece, Zell Miller, former senator from Georgia, wonders about the future of the country:
Michelle Malkin's current column shows how public "education" is producing "girly boys and girls" (my term, not hers). It's just sick and it goes hand in hand with what Zell Miller said about what's missing. Wake up, parents!
Recent generations have been more interested in giving their children the material things that they did not have when they were growing up. But they have failed to give them the spiritual things that they had when they were growing up; the valuable things like family, and Faith, and love of country, and duty. Duty to family, duty to country. These are the things that seem to be missing so much right now,” said Miller. What a sad state of affairs we are in when the very fabric of what holds this country together is being undermined in government schools and Big Media. Family, faith, duty and love of country...can those words even be found together in a positive context in any of today's textbooks? What does that portend for our future?
