Great news for San Francisco!
The inevitable "big one" could strike at any time in the Bay Area, but good news came today from the Bloomberg News Service (forgive me for my lack of links, but this months old computer hasn't the whistles and bells that my home base 'puter has which allows me instant linkage with one easy step). The big news is that San Franciscans will soon have at least 20 seconds warning before any given earthquake. Think of it! 20 seconds!
Just enough time to lock and load your handgun to be ready for the ensuing looting and rioting.
O' wait...handguns have been outlawed there as of last Tuesday and have to be turned in to Big Government on April 1st, 2006 (April fools day, coincidentally!). Nevermind!
