Palestinian Civil War Brewing...should anyone care?
For those who look upon Hamas and Fatah as terrorists, should we care that they are on the verge of a civil war? Isn't this, in fact, an ideal situation whereby the civilized world can kick back, pop open a cold one and watch those enmeshed in the culture of death destroy themselves? You'ld think so, but like most of life's situations, the simplistic approach isn't always the most expedient. In this case there are Palestinian Christians caught in the middle of the mess.
"How insensitive," you may say, "that the only reason we should care about this ensuing civil war is that 'innocent Christians' may be in the crossfire." OK, so I'm insensitive! I really don't care if terrorists kill each other. I can only hope they totally wipe each other out. What's so insensitive about that. When there are more dead terrorists, there will be fewer dead innocents.
Only the most radical egalitarians would see it differently.
