A HEAVY SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHERN MARICOPA COUNTY
AND SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY/TONTO NATIONAL FOREST FOOTHILLS ABOVE 2
THOUSAND FEET TONIGHT AND UNTIL 5 AM MST SUNDAY.
RAIN AND SNOW WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT WITH SNOW DOWN TO AN ELEVATION OF
2 THOUSAND FEET. 2 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE BETWEEN 2 AND 3
THOUSAND FEET WITH A HALF FOOT TO A FOOT ABOVE 3 THOUSAND FEET..
AND POSSIBLY OVER A FOOT ABOVE 4 OR 5 THOUSAND FEET.
A HEAVY SNOW WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE
TRAVEL ON ROADS...AND INTO REMOTE AREAS HAZARDOUS.
