John Podhoretz has an interesting piece which illustrates just how much the left abhors the idea of President Bush pointing out how we screwed up in Viet Nam and how we were victorious in Japan. It's amazing, but it's not really surprising. The left has been on the side of our enemies for at least a generation, depending on how you count time. Longer than that when you consider the fatal flaw of appeasement by the likes of Neville Chamberlain prior to WWII.
