DALLAS (July 9, 2008) – eXtreme Performance & Innovation (XPI), an

the UniRev, a universal, multi-coil, 2-step rev-limiter that is compatible
with most inductive ignitions. The UniRev is equipped with two
independent rev-limiters to safely limit engine speed by suppressing spark
on alternating cylinders. The UniRev promotes more consistent launches
and helps eliminate turbo lag.

Unlike competing products that rely on pills or dials, the UniRev uses two
control wires to command each rev-limiter: one wire to set the rev-limiter
and another to activate the 2-step. Rev the engine to the desired RPM and
set the UniRev, then activate when ready to launch. With the ability to
change the rev-limiter on the fly, the UniRev is ideal for racing from a
“dig” or from a “roll.”

The UniRev also has a built-in kill switch to help protect against theft.
