CHENEY'S Quote of the Day

Dick Cheney's powerful speech yesterday was duly welcomed by those of us who yearn for a wise leader who is strong on national defense.

There's a good piece in today's New York Post titled, CHENEY'S WISE WORDS in which I've chosen a couple of lines worthy of remembrance and suitable for quoting:

No moral code requires Americans to commit suicide to spare terrorists unpleasantries. When an entire population is targeted by a terror network, nothing is more consistent with American values than to stop them.

It's terrifying that our current president would sacrifice the security of our nation for the contrived "rights" of those who would destroy us.
