Heroes Proved: The Honor Flight Network
On his Friday show, Hugh Hewitt brought due attention to a little known organization called the Honor Flight Network that flies WWII vets, able or disabled, free of charge to Washington DC to be able to visit the National WWII Memorial.
God bless these people who are honoring our WWII vets as they near the end of their tour, so to speak.
Please give this site some of your time and if you can swing it, some of your money.
There is an apt quote by Will Rogers at the Honor Flight Network's site:
We can't all be heroes. Some of us have to stand on the curb and clap as they go by.
