WHY she is so viscerally hated by the Left

Victor Davis Hanson's most recent piece lists the six definitive reasons why Sarah Palin is so hated. I won't list them here; you need to read his commentary in its entirety.

Sarah Palin and her family are down to earth and genuinely good people and they are being trashed mercilessly by people who should know better. The same people who are doing the trashing go to the ends of the earth to praise really despicable people. It happens all the time.

Think of where that puts us as a society when bad people are praised, if not idolized, and good people are despised.
