We Need the Minutemen back!

30 days wasn't long enough. The Minutemen in Arizona did a great service for our country and we need their presence on a full time basis in all the border states.

DRUDGE is reporting right now on a "developing" story that the border patrol agents have been told to "stand down:"

"PAPER: Border Patrol told to stand down in Arizona... Border Patrol agents have been ordered not to arrest illegal aliens along the section of the Arizona border where protesters patrolled last month because an increase in apprehensions there would prove the effectiveness of Minuteman volunteers, WASHINGTON TIMES has learned.... Developing..."

This is just crazy! Something HAS to be going on behind closed doors with Vicente Fox and President Bush that isn't be made public. Why is it that the gov't refuses to act on illegal immigration and denigrates citizens who take it upon themselves when all else has failed?

UPDATE: Here's some additional information regarding the Border Patrol's insolence. Apparently they are willing to sacrifice national security just to save face. Some heads need to roll over this one.
