What were you doing 25 years ago, today?
This is one of those days when you know exactly what you were doing and where you were when you heard the news that President Ronald Reagan had been shot. For me, my job came to a halt. A TV happened to be on in the background and my cohort, Freddy, and I put everything aside and glued our eyes to what was probably CNN (that part I don't remember, but we know it wasn't FoxNews). We were working in a very nice home in Preston Trails in far north Dallas and I pass that home regularly. Not once do I ever NOT think of that infamous day whenever I go by that house.
Yes, incredible as it might seem, today is the 25th anniversary of the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan. You can read about that day as only Ronald Reagan can tell it, in the Gipper's own words. This IS today's must read! Go there right now!
