This is why the U.N. is morally bankrupt
The deputy secretary general of the U.N., Mark Mallock Brown, who most people have never heard of, has arrogantly declared that "Hezbollah deserves U.S. respect." Do we need more proof that the U.N. is a laughable, inept, incorrigible, irrelevant and hopelessly clueless institution? (Have they taken care of their overdue parking tickets in NYC yet?)

A top United Nations official says to quiet the "demons" across the "wider Islamic world" the United States and the international community must respect Hezbollah as a political party, not a terrorist organization.Which is why the U.N. needs to go bye bye.
"Everybody would want a solution here which takes away the recruiting power of Hezbollah in the broader Arab world," said Mark Malloch Brown, the U.N.'s deputy secretary general.
That would be one, he said, that "allows Hezbollah a political as against a militia future inside an independent Lebanon."
