Did the Dems win or did the Republicans lose?

This will be rightly hashed and rehashed in the days and weeks to come. Who can really know at this point but I think the republicans lost. The republican electorate gave conservatives reasons to stay home; at least in the eyes of those who stayed home, to teach them a lesson (do they feel better now?).

My thought is that republicans lost many votes because an untold number of conservatives were pissed off. They were pissed because of the unprotected border issue which went unaddressed for way too long as well as massive growth in government spending; two very unconservative issues.

Many see the republicans swerving to the left almost as fast as the left has swerved to the extreme far left.

And so the republicans lost the House and maybe even the Senate.
