Sandy's Secrets: The TWA 800 Cover-up and 9/11

Thanks to the AIM Report for this important piece about "Sandy's Secrets": The TWA 800 Cover-up and 9/11. This outstanding Jack Cashill piece was first published at WorldNetDaily but AIM has picked it up and is running with it.

It's a bit lengthy...6 pages, but print it out and read it whenever you're able...it answers lots of questions. Like what was Sandy Burglar stuffing in his pants and why, and why were 270 eyewitnesses discounted over the years but have become more credible as time has gone by.

You'll have a lot of questions after you read this article. This was mine: knowing how incredibly damaging the Carter administration was to this country, and ultimately, the world by allowing radical Islam to take over Iran and fund international terror; which recent presidency has done the most damage...Carter or the Clintons?

You'll have to ask and answer that question for yourself, but, by all means read this piece!

Prince Harry may have what it takes to be king

You've got to hand it to Prince Harry, who enlisted in the military and has expressed the desire to not receive special treatment.

Some are suggesting that Tony Blair is being pressured to withdraw British troops in order to prevent the deployment of the brave prince to Iraq. I hope this isn't true.

This prince may actually have what it takes to become king of England.

Long live Prince Harry!

UPDATE:

Nope! Scratch the part about Blair being pressured to pull back on account of Harry. Looks like the young Prince is moving into the line of fire.

Merck backs off

According to a WorldNetDaily piece, the Merck drug company is giving up its push for states to require vaccinations of all young girls:

Drug-making giant Merck & Co. has announced that it will halt its efforts to pressure states into making the vaccination of all young girls against a sexually transmitted disease mandatory.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, the drug manufacturer said the lobbying had become a distraction because of the backlash among physicians, consumer advocates, parents and even legislators.

The report said the "aggressive lobbying campaign" was designed to boost the sales of Merck's Gardasil, the only vaccine approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the few strains of the human papillomavirus that it affects.

Its costs are estimated to be in the $360-$400 per person range, which could have meant billions in revenue for the company, depending on the number of state legislatures convinced that requiring the vaccine is appropriate.
Note to the American people: when you get pissed off about some really offensive government mandate and then fight it tooth and nail, you might just win...especially if it hits the principles in the pocketbook and the politicians at the polls.

Don't forget to read the entire piece...I wonder if Texas Gov. Perry will be a little more cooperative in rescinding his Executive Order to mandate these vaccinations.

Ron Paul; the Real Republican?

FoxNews is running a good piece on Congressman Ron Paul and asks if he is the Real Republican. This article caught my eye after I saw Congressman Paul's name on the ignominious list of republicans who sided with the dems by signing the so-called non-binding resolution meant to humiliate and weaken President Bush's stand on the war in Iraq (which in turn can only demoralize the troops and embolden the enemy).

I'm a big Ron Paul fan and it was more than a little off-putting to see his name there with liberal republicans and leftist dems whose actions weaken America, but then I remembered that Ron Paul is not your run of the mill politician. He's a libertarian at heart who doesn't take going to war lightly. The libertarian credo is pretty much "live and let live." Unfortunately, such idealism doesn't do much to counter Islamo-fascism.

Regardless, Congressman Paul is a principled man who believes in and strictly lives by the constitution as few other politicians do. Before each vote he asks himself if the constitution allows congress to do what they are about to do. A man after Davy Crockett's own heart.
What a concept in todays political climate!

Reagan said that "libertarianism is the very heart and soul of conservatism" and when you take a look around congress, you don't see too many of them today.

Be sure to read the above linked piece on Ron Paul. He's one of the good guys who is almost always misunderstood. Especially by big government republicans.

The 1/2 Hour News Hour

Welcome Mediabistro readers!

Good stuff! It's always great to see someone make fun of the ludicrous left on national TV...what a concept! This is good alternative TV. It needs a little more glitz and a lot less laugh track. Sorry guys , the laugh track is way over the top...it's gotta go or be modified. Everything else is fitting, proper and hilarious.

This would be a great nightly, up to the minute, live, in your face, FoxNews Feature!

How 'bout it, FoxNews?

UPDATE: Hat tip to TVNewser: the ratings are in and they're good (for cable)!

The Friend of My Enemy is My Enemy

Congressman Murtha Crafts Bill which will hobble troops and make it more difficult for us to win the war against radical Islamo-fascists. Our enemies must flat out love him as well as all of the other dems and loser republicans who don't have the spine or love of country to stand up for the all out support of our troops.

The fact that our enemies must love Murtha and his ilk for all they are attempting to do to weaken our resolve to win this war against madmen means they are friends of our enemies; ergo, they are not friends of this country. Quite the opposite. They are and will be the total ruination of this country if they are not stopped.

Whatever happened to the concept of victory at any cost?

Murtha is not alone in this historically shameful act meant to weaken the military. All of the dems and way too many of the spineless republicans are complicit in this political war against President Bush which does nothing but encourage our enemies. These leftist politicians are the enemy within our gates and their actions play right into the hand of the terrorists.

The problem is two-fold, at the very least. Not only do the leftists dems pose real security problems for us if they get their way, but no one on the right side of the isle is raising any hell about all this!

Where's the outrage other than on talk radio and the blogosphere?

If there's a silent majority out there, they need to wake up and and give politicians a piece of their minds. If they remain silent, life in America as we know it will be short lived.

What we have

My friend, Ron Dart, has an outstanding broadcast up this weekend titled, What Christians Have. Just click on the title and when the box pops up, click on "open" to hear the broadcast.

If you've never listened to Ron before, take this opportunity to hear him. He's a compelling and motivating educator right up there with the likes of Earl Nightingale. I've never heard a bad Born to Win program, but I think this one is especially compelling for practicing Christians who may not fully realize what it is they have access to.

Check it out!

The Religion of Global Warming

Now, as never before we are besieged by leftist propaganda pieces emanating from every imaginable media organization and academic institution in a full court press to foist upon us the concocted belief of man-made global warming/climate change.

Scientists probably all agree that climate change is occurring to one degree or another and has been occurring for billions of years. That's the nature of the universe and it would be foolish to think otherwise. The disagreement arises when those on the left attempt to blame western civilization and capitalism for the ongoing global climate change. Basic common sense obliterates the supposition that the United States is responsible for what has been happening since the beginning of time.

So why does this global proposition have more to do with politics than science? It's not really a difficult question. All one needs to consider is where these suppositions originate and what they plan to do to counter their stated problem (hint: it involves unimaginable, disruptive expense for what would amount to insignificant results).

In case you missed Rush's Friday show, you missed one of his most brilliant monologues on the secular religion of global warming/climate change. As luck would have it, you can find it on the free side of his website.

Global Incident Map

Thanks to Hugh Hewitt for posting this Global Incident Map which displays acts of terrorism and various other "suspicious activity." Pretty neat! Pretty alarming!

Texas Requires Cancer Vaccine for Girls

According to an AP piece via My Way News, Texas now requires cancer vaccine for girls. Huh? Will the state also be held responsible for any number of unknown side effects and or fatalities?
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Bypassing the Legislature, Republican Gov. Rick Perry signed an order Friday making Texas the first state to require that schoolgirls get vaccinated against the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer.

By issuing an executive order, Perry apparently sidesteps opposition in the Legislature from conservatives and parents' rights groups who fear such a requirement would condone premarital sex and interfere with the way parents raise their children.

Beginning in September 2008, girls entering the sixth grade - meaning, generally, girls ages 11 and 12 - will have to get Gardasil, Merck & Co. (MRK)'s new vaccine against strains of the human papillomavirus, or HPV.

Perry, a conservative Christian who opposes abortion and stem-cell research using embryonic cells, counts on the religious right for his political base. But he has said the cervical cancer vaccine is no different from the one that protects children against polio.

"The HPV vaccine provides us with an incredible opportunity to effectively target and prevent cervical cancer," Perry said in announcing the order.

"If there are diseases in our society that are going to cost us large amounts of money, it just makes good economic sense, not to mention the health and well-being of these individuals to have those vaccines available," he said.

Merck is bankrolling efforts to pass state laws across the country mandating Gardasil for girls as young as 11 or 12. It doubled its lobbying budget in Texas and has funneled money through Women in Government, an advocacy group made up of female state legislators around the country.
Sorry, this is just wrong. It's up to parents to decide if their daughters should take this or any other drug.

Why Boortz is skeptical of man-made global warming

Talker Neal Boortz wrote up a common sensical list of reasons why he's skeptical of the theory that mankind (read, the United States) is the cause of global warming (now called global climate change because the warming nomenclature doesn't work well when the nation is experiencing winter). Go to today's (Friday, February 2) edition of Nealz Nuze to see his list (For some reason his permalink isn't working). Here are some of his prescient points:
The United Nations is anti-American and anti-Capitalist. In short .. I don't trust them. Not a bit. The UN would eagerly engage in any enterprise that would weaken capitalist economies around the world.

Because after the fall of the Soviet Union and worldwide Communism many in the anti-capitalist movement moved to the environmental movement to continue pursuing their anti-free enterprise goals. Many of the loudest proponents of man-made global warming today are confirmed anti-capitalists.

Because the sun is warmer .. and all of these scientists don't seem to be willing to credit a warmer sun with any of the blame for global warming.

The polar ice caps on Mars are melting. How did our CO2 emissions get all the way to Mars?

It was warmer in the 1930s across the globe than it is right now.

It wasn't all that long ago that these very same scientists were warning us about "global cooling" and another approaching ice age?

How much has the earth warmed up in the last 100 years? One degree. Now that's frightening.

Because that famous "hockey stick" graph that purports to show a sudden warming of the earth in the last few decades is a fraud. It ignored previous warming periods ... left them off the graph altogether.

The infamous Kyoto accords exempt some of the world's biggest CO2 polluters, including China and India.

The Kyoto accords can easily be seen as nothing less than an attempt to hamstring the world's dominant capitalist economies.

Because many of these scientists who are sounding the global warming scare depend on grant money for their livelihood, and they know the grant money dries up when they stop preaching the global warming sermon.

Because global warming "activists" and scientists seek to punish those who have different viewpoints. If you are sure of your science you have no need to shout down or seek to punish those who disagree.

What happened to the Medieval Warm Period? In 1996 the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a chart showing climatic change over a period of 1000 years. This graph showed a Medieval warming period in which global temperatures were higher than they are today. In 2001 the IPCC issued another 1000 year graph in which the Medieval warming period was missing. Why?

Why has one scientist promoting the cause of man-made global warming been quoted as saying "we have to get rid of the medieval warming period?"

Why is the ice cap on the Antarctic getting thicker if the earth is getting warmer?

In the United State, the one country with the most accurate temperature measuring and reporting records, temperatures have risen by 0.3 degrees centigrade over the past 100 years. The UN estimate is twice that.

There are about 160,000 glaciers around the world. Most have never been visited or measured by man. The great majority of these glaciers are growing, not melting.

Side-looking radar interferometry shows that the ise mass in the West Antarctic is growing at a rate of over 26 gigatons a year. This reverses a melting trend that had persisted for the previous 6,000 years.

Rising sea levels? The sea levels have been rising since the last ice age ended. That was 12,000 years ago. Estimates are that in that time the sea level has risen by over 300 feet. The rise in our sea levels has been going on long before man started creating anything but natural CO2 emissions.

Like Antarctica, the interior of Greenland is gaining ice mass.

Over the past 3,000 years there have been five different extended periods when the earth was measurably warmer than it is today.

During the last 20 years -- a period of the highest carbon dioxide levels -- global temperatures have actually decreased. That's right ... decreased.

Why did a reporter from National Public Radio refuse to interview David Deming, an associate professor at the University of Oklahoma studying global warming, after his testimony to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee unless Deming would state that global warming was being caused by man?

Why are global warming proponents insisting that the matter is settled and that no further scientific research is needed? Why are they afraid of additional information?

Boortz...ya gotta love him!

What in the world are Europeans thinking?

According to a piece at Newsmax, Europeans are wary of a U.S. attack on Iran. Now isn't that rich, if I may use that quaint little idiom. Why aren't they wary of an Iranian attack on Israel, like the madman of Iran has been predicting for the last 6 months or so?

Guess it doesn't matter to the Euro-weenies that he's promised the demise of Israel and the United States...guess it only matters that they are wary we might have the testicular fortitude to take out the Iranian nukes before they take out Israel. But then France doesn't really care about Israel, or the United States, do they? Why is it again we saved them from the NAZI's?

I just hope we won't have to fly over France and get their permission to use their airspace when it comes time to take out Iran's nukes.
