Oil Execs Need to Throw it Right Back at Them

Just saw this headline at DRUDGE:..Oil execs to take heat from lawmakers Tuesday. Here's a blurb from the piece:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Five U.S. oil company executives set to testify on Capitol Hill on Tuesday about soaring gasoline prices and record industry profits will likely offer a common defense: It's not our fault.
I can only wish these oil execs would come to Congress as prepared as Howard Hughes was when he appeared before a corrupted Senate Hearing in 1947. Hughes gave them the "what for" and made fools of them, which of course they were.

These guys (the Oil Execs) have unlimited resources to have prepared for them every thing they should ever need to let these arrogant politicians know how the cow ate the cabbage. Wouldn't you love to see these guys lay the blame for high oil prices squarely on the shoulders of those pointing their finger at Big Oil.

Why doesn't Big Oil go to war with Big Govt like Howard Hughes did with Sen. Brewster (so aptly portrayed by Alan Alda in The Aviator (2004)?

Some creative Big Oil exec might expound upon the vast restrictive regulations with which they must comply as well as the many recipes of gas required by the EPA and explain to them why we haven't been allowed to build a gasoline refinery for over 30 years. They might also look into how the various congressmen made their fortunes.

How about the confiscatory taxes Big Oil pays each quarter. We never see or hear about the taxes reaped by greedy Big Govt; we only hear of the profits made by Big Oil. How many times has Big Media reported that Exxon's 2007 tax bill was $30 Billion? I wonder if that will come up tomorrow in the Big Oil excoriations.

Big Oil has a responsibility to take the offensive against the arrogant demagogues in Congress. They can do it much better than Joe Six-Pack. We have to sit back and take it...these guys shouldn't have to!

How dare our elected "officials"(that nomenclature is much too laudatory) put the people who provide our energy under the hot lights and excoriate them for doing the best they can do considering Big Govt works against them at every turn. Shame on the vile politicians...but they have no shame!

One can only wish Big Oil would do their homework on these corrupt politicians who seek to destroy free enterprise, and run massive campaigns against the politicians who are ruining this country with excessive regulations and confiscatory taxation, and expose them for who and what they are...corrupt socialists who are racing headlong to create problems in order to solve them. That's what politicians do.

Unfortunately, politicians are well schooled in creating problems, but they are woefully inept at ever solving them.

American Thinker: "Debunking Gore's 'consensus' hoax"

The American Thinker website has a very important post about a book which methodically debunks the Al Gore hoax of man-caused global warming, or climate change or even global cooling (which is the current leaning of in the know climatologists). It's a short post and as such I will take the liberty to post it in its entirety (but that should not preclude you from going to and exploring the always interesting and edifying website that is The American Thinker:)
"Book Description
Is The "Scientific Consensus" on Global Warming a Myth?

Yes, says internationally renowned environmentalist author Lawrence Solomon who highlights the brave scientists--all leaders in their fields-- who dispute the conventional wisdom of climate change alarmists (despite the threat to their careers)

Al Gore and his media allies claim the only scientists who dispute the alarmist view on global warming are corrupt crackpots and "deniers", comparable to neo-Nazis who deny the Holocaust.

Solomon calmly and methodically debunks Gore's outrageous charges, showing in on 'headline' case after another that the scientists who dispute Gore's doomsday scenarios have far more credibility than those who support Gore's theories. These men who expose Gore's claims as absurd hold top positions at the most prestigious scientific institutes in the world. Their work is cited and acclaimed throughout the scientific community. No wonder Gore and his allies want to pretend they don't exist.

This is the one book that PROVES the science is NOT settled. The scientists profiled are too eminent and their research too devastating to allow simplistic views of global warming--like Al Gore's--to survive. "

We Need to Become More Like Europe

Europe is always being held up as the example of what we as a country should want to be. This is the leftist wish for America, of course.

But what is going on in Europe today? Here is but one drastic example of what the left would be happy to have happen in this country.

Think it could never happen here? Think again! The illegalization of Home Schooling has already begun in California.

In Search of a Three-sided Coin

Lately I've been thinking that we need to come up with a three-sided coin on which to display the three aspiring presidential nominees. A normal two-sided coin would be satisfactory if all we had to consider was Obama and McCain or Hillary and McCain; you know, heads we lose, tails we lose. But we have three contenders on which to put a new improved coin of the future. As long as we have a never ending battle between the two dems we must come up with a three-sided coin that would include all of them.

The concept of a three-sided coin is somewhat of a mind bender. The first thing that came to my mind was sort of in the shape of a pyramid...but that creates practical problems in the form of pocket change as far as wear and tear and would solicit comments along the lines of, "is that a pyramid in your pocket or..," well, you know...and besides, a pyramid would have at least 4 sides, so that wouldn't make the cut.

It took a few minutes of contemplation and I finally determined that a three-sided coin would have to be cylindrical in nature, like a "thick" coin that would or could stand on its side. That would make the edge itself a side and the coin could and would be able to stand on its thicker edge without tipping over. Here's a pic that exemplifies what I'm talking about:

Yeah, that's the idea. Heads for Obama, tails for Hillary and edges for McCain. Toss the coin and see how it lands.

Heads, we lose; tails we lose, and edges we lose. A difinitive toss-up!

The 545 People Responsible For All of America's Woes

This piece is making the rounds and I received it today from a friend of mine. It supposedly is an opinion piece written by Charley Reese when he was still a columnist at the Orlando Sentinel (he retired in 2001.) I was unable to find this on his archives page or check it out on Snopes. I don't really doubt that Reese wrote this; it sounds just like him, but I wasn't able to find it at any official looking site (no offense to the site whereupon I found this.) Still, this is a compelling piece written when Tip O'Neill was Speaker of the House and Reagan was president. It couldn't be more true today and I reprint it in its entirety as it was sent to me:

THE 545 PEOPLE
RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL
OF AMERICA'S WOES

BY CHARLEY REESE

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don't write the tax code. Congress does. You and I don't set fiscal policy. Congress does. You and I don't control monetary policy. The Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of the 235 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered but private central bank.

I excluded all but the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it.

No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislation's responsibility to determine how he votes.

A CONFIDENCE CONSPIRACY

Don't you see how the con game that is played on the people by the politicians? Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of Tip O'Neill, who stood up and criticized Ronald Reagan for creating deficits.

The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating appropriations and taxes.

O'Neill is the speaker of the House. He is the leader of the majority party. He and his fellow Democrats, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetos it, they can pass it over his veto.

REPLACE SCOUNDRELS

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 235 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts - of incompetence and irresponsibility.

I can't think of a single domestic problem, from an unfair tax code to defense overruns, that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.

When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair. If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red. If the Marines are in Lebanon, it's because they want them in Lebanon.

There are no insoluble government problems. Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take it.

Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exist disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation" or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people and they alone are responsible. They and they alone have the power. They and they alone should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses - provided they have the gumption to manage their own employees.

(This article was taken from the Orlando Sentinel Star newspaper)
This is a great piece to keep in mind when Big Govt blames Big Oil for high energy prices, or anyone else in the "once free market" for things gone awry. Pretty much, we can blame the lame politicians on everything going crazy.

But then, who are the lame-brains voting them into office? Yikes, that one's gonna make a mark!

Thanks for this piece, Charley Reese, wherever you are!

Let Your Light Shine Tonight

It's true that you can "fool some of the people all of the time." It is and was evidenced tonight.
Group think is an amazingly scary thing. Just consider that a certain number of people have and are going to celebrate "Earth Hour" tonight by turning off all their lights to show how much they care about the environment. I hope hospitals saw the lunacy in this display of vacuity and opted to leave the power on for the sake of those in ICU.

This, of course, is and was merely a feel good, pseudo-sacrament by those who "worship the creation" rather than the Creator and in so doing, in all their self-proclaimed wisdom and love for the environment "have become fools." (Just for the heck of it you might refer to the first chapter of the Book of Romans in the New Testament for an apt description of these folks.)

As for me and mine, we're letting our kilowatts beam forth like the Reaganesque City on the Hill for all to see. Additionally, we're getting a big chuckle from those of you yet to be "enlightened," if you'll pardon the pun.
The above photo shows earth at night and you'll notice it's the blighted, impoverished and under developed areas that are in the dark. There are those tonight in their self-imposed darkness wishing developed countries such as ours could only be more like the undeveloped countries. They are the ones who see mankind as the problem, not the solution. Sadly, they see the solution in bigger govt with higher taxation and more ridged regulations on "evil "corporations and on our own personal lives.
Even more sadly is that all three people who seek the presidency concur with bigger govt, confiscatory taxation and stifling regulations which will paralyze the economy as we know it.
Yes, it's fun to laugh at these people; they deserve nothing but derision and laughter, but it's terrifying to think of them in power.

Does the Bible condone slavery?

Casual readers of the Bible (the Old and New Testaments) be they Christian or otherwise, are faced with a conundrum; how or why could a loving God seemingly permit, allow or even encourage slavery.

Critics of the Bible and Christianity in general have long used the "slavery enigma" as a means to discredit and demean the scriptures as archaic and even unjust. On the surface they have a credible point; but sometimes critics are happy with the understanding they have instead of taking the time to see if their understanding is, in fact, correct.

My friend Ron Dart did a remarkable broadcast which airs on syndicated radio stations coast to coast this weekend, on the Civil War and slavery. It's a fascinating account of slavery in this country and throughout the Bible. The program is titled Theology of the Civil War.

Don't be turned off by the "theology" word...this isn't a sermon; it's an interesting explanation of the why's and wherefore's of slavery, past and present.

Polls: Democrats Love McCain

The latest polls are showing that Democrats Love McCain and would vote for him if their "guy" isn't nominated. And why would they not want to vote for McCain? He's nothing more than a democrat in sheer republican clothes. That's right, sheer! You can see right through him. If he's a republican it's in name only, but how many times must we labor through that.

The McCain republicans are the new democrats. The democrats are the new socialists..."progressives" if you will! The conservatives have become the homeless party because we have no where to go and no one to vote for.

Is it time for a viable Conservative Third party? If there EVER was a time, it's now!

The Foreign Policy Speech McCain gave yesterday is testimony to the fact that his foreign policy is absolutely in line with Hillary and Obama. He's insistent to secede our sovereignty to international organizations and determined to give terrorists constitutional rights by closing down GITMO and bringing the combatants to our country which by constitutional demands, would confer upon them the rights of United States citizens. How ridiculous is that? Even worse, he would allow the European potentates to determine how or what we do with our "prisoners of war" as if they would better know how to deal with terrorists.

The very reason GITMO exists is so THEY DON'T GET THE SAME RIGHTS AS CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES....DUH!!! And McCain is supposed to be the right guy with our national security in mind? I don't think so!

We're in a world of hurt, folks, because we really don't have a choice for president. They are virtually ALL THE SAME when it boils down to the important stuff!
If ever there was a time for a conservative third party, it is now!

Question of the Day

Asked by the completely misunderstood, lovely, talented and ballsy Ann Coulter:

How long must we all marinate in the angry resentment of black people?
This comment was, of course, made in the context of Obama's speech which excused the racist tirade's of his beloved minister and mentor of 20 years.

This particular column of Ms. Coulter is one not to be missed because she doesn't give a rat's behind about political correctness. But then, who does who really has anything of value to say?

You go, Ann!
You know, all this "give the black guy a break for spewing racist hate-speech" is nothing more than bigotry. That's right bigotry! The bigotry of low expectations. Some say it's the "soft bigotry of low expectations." What's soft about it? It's bigotry. Why should blacks get a pass for being bigots? Why should any minority get a pass for spewing racist epithets? Must we allow for their shortcomings because they can't quite cut it on their own? Everyone pandering for their vote is saying they can't do it on their own. Do they need "special allowances" because they're "in the minority?" Does Big Govt have to come to their aid because they are "helpless minorities?" What, are they really helpless? Must we treat them like children?
Is this the legacy of the Blacks? The dems treat them as children. Stupid and helpless children, if you will!
That's what Obama and Hillary would have them believe. According to the leftist democrat party, Blacks can't make it on their own. Because their ancestors were slaves, the present generation is helpless ne'er do wells! Vote democrat!
If I'm a black guy with just the slightest amount of self respect, I tell Obama and Hillary where to stick it. What have they done for me for the last 50 years? They've broken up the Black family by replacing dad with govt handouts. If dad is there, no govt handouts. When dad takes a hike, the handouts kick in. What a concept for a screwed up family. Thanks, liberal "do-gooders!"
Get real! Big Govt doesn't do diddly for anyone...black, yellow, white or polka dotted.
But then, I've digressed big time...be sure to read Ann Coulter's entire column. She's "right on!" (If I may be so bold to use that expression popularized by Blacks in 1960's.)

The Hideous tactics of the Left

I haven't heard or read this anywhere but on Hugh Hewitt's Blog. It pertains to the bogus "man-caused" global warming agenda and how the leftists will probably go about achieving their goals of reducing greenhouse gases; you know, like the kind we exhale and other naturally occurring "toxins" such as bovine flatulence.

They're going to use the Endangered Species Act to get their get their agenda passed.

By all means go to Hugh Hewitt's website and read his expose' on this backdoor tactic. The leftists are despicable and will stop at nothing to disrupt capitalism via needless regulations and continual imposition of higher taxation.

What Happens When the Media is Corrupt?

The News Media has traditionally been the "watch dog" over the the political system but what happens when the "watch dogs" become corrupt? What happens when corrupt politicians and a corrupted media sidle up to one another? Expect the worse, friends.

There's an interesting and timely Born To Win program up right now at the Born To Win Radio Archives titled "A Corrupt Media."

Click on it and give it a listen!

Who's Up for a Chinese Olympic Boycott?

There may be a growing trend to boycott the Chinese Olympic opening ceremonies. Boycott the opening ceremonies...How lame is that? Why not just boycott the Chinese Olympics altogether? Boycott the opening ceremonies? Puhleeeese!

But if you're talking a for real boycott of the altogether kind, maybe we can talk.

A boycott, you ask? Why in the world would anyone want to boycott the Chi-Com's Olympics in Red China? (I guess we don't call it Red China anymore do we...and why is that, again?)

Let's see; most recently they've rounded up and detained 1,000 Tibetans in a Chinese crackdown. More on the Chi-Com horrors in Tibet here.

If you're an Olympic athlete all set to compete in China, you've been told you may not criticize them. That would be enough for me if I was about to head over there! No can do after this threat to my freedom of speech! What have they to fear? You mean all is not well in Red China? What have they to hide?

And what about those Chinese threats to Taiwan?

Then there are those pesky recalls which have been going on for the last couple of years.

But maybe the most important reason to boycott the Chi-Com Olympics is because of their questionable Clinton connection. Who knows what that means to our national security!

Full disclosure time; I'm not a big Olympics fan and I'm not going to spend much time on them regardless of where they are located, but when it comes to allowing a communist country replete with vast human rights abuses, to propagandize to the world via this mega-media event, I say, not with my support.

I can only wish I was a world class athlete so I could thumb my nose at the Chi-Coms. After all, how many chances does one get to make such a monumental statement that would be seen around the world?

It Couldn't Happen to a Nicer Guy

According to a piece at the Politico.com, Bill's image has been damaged by the campaign. Who would have ever thought that?

Did the folks at Politico.com completely and conveniently forget about the damage that was done to his image throughout his entire political career? Come on you guys, get real!

Uncle Jay Explains The News

Don't miss the most recent episode of Uncle Jay as he explains last weeks news. This one is a classic!

Climate hysteria--the "perfect propaganda tool"

An opinion piece in the Toronto Sun by Lorrie Goldstein titled, Cool the climate hysteria, makes the point that the climate change/global warming/global cooling hysteria being foisted off as fact is the "perfect propaganda tool:"
Global warming is the gift that keeps on giving to climate hysterics.

For those already pre-disposed to being anti-western, anti-development, anti-growth, anti-capitalist and most of all, anti-U.S., it's the perfect propaganda tool.

After all, as they screech, the survival of the Earth itself is at stake and they alone are on the side of the angels. They alone care about the legacy we will leave our grandchildren.

To this crowd, the rest of us are "climate deniers," in a league with the devil, in the pay of Big Oil and out to destroy ... uh ... ourselves.

Even better for climate hysterics, they will never be called to account for their simple-minded campaign to demonize fossil fuels, which is aimed more at arbitrarily controlling human behaviour -- and for so-called "green" politicians, raising taxes -- than reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

That's because everyone alive today will be dead long before we know how much of the scientific "consensus" on global warming is correct.
Be sure to read the whole thing and keep in mind that all three of the presidential candidates agree that climate change is man-caused which translates into more confiscatory taxation, higher energy costs and greater dependence on foreign oil.

Discouraging, isn't it.

On a related subject, Walter E Williams, columnist and economist extraordinaire, wrote a brilliant piece on the Big Corn and Ethanol Hoax. Be sure to read it!

This blog first examined the ethanol hoax here about a year ago. More people are waking up to this bogus panacea which is wasting energy and causing food prices to sky rocket around the world. That, of course, takes its toll on those least able to afford it; the poor.

Still, Big Govt and vote hungry politicians spout failing and failed policies because the masses are largely uninformed and the green movement just feels good!

What happened to our moral compass?

Pat Boone has an excellent piece up at WND titled, Whatever happened to our moral compass? Are we spiraling downward at breakneck speeds or is the media just playing up the titillation for the sake of ratings and increased sales? Boone makes the point that to even the most casual observer, it's obvious that society is making "cataclysmic changes" in terms of moral behavior:
For most of our history as a nation, the Judeo-Christian principles that fostered and permeated our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution – our very way of life – dictated that immoral, corrupt, dishonest behavior was simply unacceptable. It was no secret that we all, fallible and failing at times, actually believed that there are unchanging standards of acceptable behavior. And, that failure to live up to those widely accepted standards would bring consequences: loss of reputation, position, compensation and possibly jail time, depending on the enormity of the breach.

I mention "Judeo-Christian" principles. In other words, the Bible. Even atheists, non believers and total reprobates had to acknowledge that America was guided by and founded upon principles from the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount, the Golden Rule and all the well-known biblical pronouncements and examples.
The Bible? Can you even talk about the Bible without being made out to be a whacked-out extremist? That's the perception put forth by the mainstream. It's certainly not a topic to be brought up in schools or in any other venue that receives government subsidies. Pity!

The more society eschews Judeo-Christian principles, relegates God to the past and embraces the feel good, politically correct dictums of moral relativism, the faster society swirls into the cesspool.

Be sure to read Pat Boone's entire article. He's one of the good guys who isn't afraid to stand up for what's right.

Essential Reading for every 'Brain-Dead Liberal'

If it would do any good or have any effect whatsoever, my wish for today is to have every open-minded liberal, progressive and/or leftist read David Mamet's essay in the Village Voice, titled Why I Am No Longer a 'Brain-Dead Liberal.'

It's an admirable piece and I'm sure there's a price he'll pay with some his left-leaning associates. I'm sure he'll soon realize the flack he's bound to receive will be from those unwilling to closely examine their own ideologies.

Bush denounces "Fair Doctrine"

In a speech yesterday at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, President Bush took the opportunity to blast the so-called "Fairness Doctrine":
” I mention this because there’s an effort afoot that would jeopardize your right to express your views on public airways. Some members of Congress want to reinstate a regulation that was repealed 20 years ago. It has the Orwellian name called the Fairness Doctrine. Supporters of this regulation say we need to mandate that any discussion of so-called controversial issues on the public airwaves includes equal time for all sides. This means that many programs wanting to stay on the air would have to meet Washington’s definition of balance. Of course, for some in Washington, the only opinions that require balancing are the ones they don’t like.”

“We know who these advocates of so-called balance really have in their sights: shows hosted by people like Rush Limbaugh or James Dobson, or many of you here today. By insisting on so-called balance, they want to silence those they don’t agree with. The truth of the matter is, they know they cannot prevail in the public debate of ideas. They don’t acknowledge that you are the balance … The country should not be afraid of the diversity of opinions. After all, we’re strengthened by diversity of opinions.”
Way to go, Mr. President, but it's the next president's stand we have to be worried about...regardless of the party!

Lame, no, STUPID Quote of the Day

After being criticized for saying Obama's campaign success was because of his race, Geraldine Ferraro came back with this:
They're attacking me because I'm white.
For one thing, no one is attacking her; that's liberal-speak for criticism. They're criticizing her for omitting the obvious; that Hillary wouldn't be where she is if she wasn't married to Bill!

What she said about Obama may or may not be true, but it's the left who have created identity politics which is what this is all about. It's all about which group can attract the most votes, not about character and ideology.

How's that Peace Process going over there?

Surely the Palestinians wouldn't jeopardize the "peace process" by brutally murdering 8 innocent students...would they?

We probably just need to send them more money. Yeah, that would solve the problem!

Clinton Campaign Strategy

TIME sums up the Clinton campaign strategy in one short paragraph:
An Arkansas state legislator once said of Bill Clinton that he would pat you on the back while he urinated down your leg. The corollary for Clinton's wife Hillary could be that she will tell the world how honored she is to share a stage with Barack Obama even as she's gearing up to smash him. When it comes to politics, the Clinton philosophy is simple: It's war, and wars are for winning. Bill put it this way, back in 1981: "When someone is beating you over the head with a hammer, don't sit there and take it. Take out a meat cleaver and cut off their hand."
I don't think we've seen anything yet!

Unacceptable and Outrageous quote of the day

President Bush, a former oil man in Midland, TX., has to know there is plenty of oil out there for the taking if Big Govt and Big Socialism would get out of the way and let us become energy independent. All we have to do is unbridle our oil and gas people and let them get after it! But I digress. Here's the egregious and ignominious quote of the day from our outgoing president:
US Must "Get Off Oil"
It doesn't have to be this way, people! Everything Big Govt touches, it screws up. If they would just get out of the way!

One more reason to leave California...soon!

From what I hear, people and companies are leaving California in droves. Why? Because they are taxing and regulating the whey out of the good citizens there.

Here is yet another reason to get out of there while you may still make an obscene profit on your house: Parents of 166,000 students could face criminal charges.

Seriously, Californians...look at what's happening to your state. Get out before there's no one left to buy your inflated property and before the summer "brown-outs" start occurring.

If you home school, you have even more incentive to get out!

Christian Foreign Policy

The title, "Christian Foreign Policy" might give one pause, especially in light of separation of church and state. There are "Christian" churches and pastors across the fruited plain who set a terrible example, preach radical messages and in general turn many people off to Biblical Christianity. The last thing anyone would want is for them to have anything to do with foreign policy. Shame on them for the damage they cause.

That being said, there is and always has been a place for Christian foreign policy in America and around the world. We were founded as a Christian nation and we became the shining city on the hill to whom the entire world looked as an example and for help when other nations were in peril. As a Christian nation, we've been a blessing to the entire world. What will happen when those in power succeed in tossing God completely out of the mix? Who will the world turn to then?

My friend, Ronald L. Dart, voice of the Born To Win program, has an interesting and compelling program up for the weekend that addresses the role Christianity has played in foreign policy over the centuries. You can hear that scintillating and timely program by going to the above link and clicking on "Christian Foreign Policy" or just scroll down on this blog and click on the Born to Win icon.

If you've never heard any of Ron's popular broadcasts, you're missing some great radio. He always keeps my interest, whether he's talking the Bible, politics or current events. He's not a preacher; he's an astute and eminently fascinating teacher.

In a week or two the title of this program may no longer appear at the above link because new programs are added each week. Not to worry...all you need to do is a title search on the above linked radio archives page. Type in the title and you'll access the program.

But don't wait that long. Give him a listen right now!
