My Fourth Blogoversary
It was 4 years ago yesterday that I fired up this blog and commenced blogging. In these past 4 years I've posted 1948 posts and have had 45,388 visits. I know, those numbers are microscopic when you see that DRUDGE is getting 14 million hits each day, but when I become an "overnight" success I'll be able to point to my days as a baby blogger.
Why blog? Well, as an inveterate news and information junkie, it's always been a great place to opine about my interests and feature some of my favorite sources for news and information.
More importantly, I've tried to post articles and opinions that would cause people to pause and think about what's going on in the world and get them to wonder why things are happening as they are happening.
Some of my posts are strictly for my own amusement and if anyone happens to be likewise amused, that's part of the fun.
I don't take myself too seriously although many of my posts are dead serious because I sense we're living in very dangerous times. I wish more people would wake up and realize that.
In the past couple of days I've revisited a few of my favorite posts over the last four years and I thought I would link to them in case you're interested. I may add to them as time permits...here are a few of my faves:
Thanks so much for stopping by...please be sure to come back!
