What you need to know about ACORN, Obama, And The Mortgage Mess

Obama's main qualifications for being president, according to Obama and his operatives, was that he was a "community organizer." He seldom, if ever, mentions ACORN as one of the organizations for which he "organized."

Mona Charen has an excellent column about ACORN and their involvements in the various communities. She brings to light many things about ACORN that Obama has failed to mention or highlight in his resume.

Hmmm...imagine that!

Be sure to check out Mona's column!

"If You Think the Bailout Plan Is Too Socialistic, Just Wait For the Obama Leviathan"

Here's a good piece from Investor's Business Daily: If Bailout Plan Is Too Socialistic, Just Wait For Obama Leviathan

You just have to read it!

Karl Marx would be proud!

Proponents of Marxism could very well be wetting themselves in excitement knowing just how close they are to the world's largest take over of America's financial institutions. FP (Financial Post) Comment is reporting/editorializing the fact that this Wall Street bailout closely resembles Goal #5 of the Ten Planks of The Communist Manifesto:
By Martin Masse
In his Communist Manifesto, published in 1848, Karl Marx proposed 10 measures to be implemented after the proletariat takes power, with the aim of centralizing all instruments of production in the hands of the state. Proposal Number Five was to bring about the “centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.”
If he were to rise from the dead today, Marx might be delighted to discover that most economists and financial commentators, including many who claim to favour the free market, agree with him.
By all means read the entire piece.

Is such a bailout constitutional? Don't our elected officials take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution? The only people I hear asking this most pertinent question these days is Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin. If you're not listening to those two, you're not getting the information you need to be hearing.

Thankfully there are some conservative House Members who stood up against the dems, but it looks doubtful that they can hold back an eventual bailout of some sort. ANY kind of bailout is out of order and unconstitutional but far too many in Washington have total disregard for our Freedom Documents; the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.
Now would be a good time to go back and read the above linked planks of the Communist Manifesto. Who would have thought that Big Govt is replete with so many leftists who knowingly or unknowingly adhere to the Marxist philosophy?
Americans who love freedom and the Natural Law of the Land have to stand up now, more than ever and fight those who are on the cusp of taking over this once great nation. God help us in this fight!

Big Govt Sets the Example

Hat tip to Lucianne.com.

If you don't vote for Obama you may have "frontal lobe prejudice"

That's right; if you don't vote for Obama, you're not only a racist, but you're probably crazy as well. That's what one of Obama's fawning media groupies at the Chicago Tribune is suggesting. It's not really surprising that his media minions would be struggling for excuses in the event he loses; it's just one more revelation about the inner workings of his operatives. They are desperate and they will project whatever is necessary upon their opponents.

They're not going to be able to accept loss because of Obama's ineptitude or mean spirited radical leftist leanings; no, it has to be that we are crazy racists.

And that mentality is what we are up against!

Essential Weekend Reading: "Fascism on Ascendancy"

Joseph Farah nails it in his most recent WorldNetDaily column titled, Fascism on ascendancy. This is a very important piece. What is happening here and abroad politically and economically should be motivating us to action like no other time in our lives. Instead it seems the masses are apathetically kicking back thinking that "the government" will take care of the never ending problems du jour. And the problems keep mounting.

Tragically, it's the government that causes the unsurmountable problems for industry via hyper-regulation and confiscatory taxation to the point where business can no longer operate properly. That's when politicians really shine. They then take the opportunity to grab the spotlight, blame capitalism and take control or plunder the industry when they can no longer afford to stay in business. Big Govt becomes bigger and gains more control over our lives.

But I digress.

Here's a preview of Farah's editorial:
If you want to understand where this crazy world is headed under the direction of a global elite, I can tell you.

The destination is called fascism – a controlled and managed mixed economy with authoritarian central leadership, this time on a global scale.

The latest issue of Foreign Policy magazine quotes one of the neo-intellectuals of this movement, Francis Fukuyama, as explaining, "The leader I most admire in the 20th century is Deng Xiaoping, who was able to totally change the Chinese economic system because he understood that communism didn't work. What he did was throw aside ideological presuppositions. I worry that Americans are not prepared to think in those terms about their own policies and institutions."

That's right. That's Deng Xiaoping of Tiananmen Square fame, the Communist who transitioned China into fascism.

It's startling to understand how much the new globalists love the new China – the China with no personal freedoms, no inalienable rights and a command-and-control economy in which a few members of the elite are permitted to attain great wealth.
There's more and you need to be sure to read the rest of his piece. He's right on.

Remember how quickly Obama heaped praise on China during the Olympics? That's the stereotypical viewpoint of the leftist elitists. They love dictatorships! Castro is a hero to the left.

Why are so many Americans accepting of this destructive philosophy? Could it be the relentless drumbeat of the left? Could it be the Big Government Indoctrination Centers some people refer to as schools?

Yes, it's that and more. It could also be that many people are just weary of well doing and tired of the fight.

Our American way of life is at a dangerous crossroads. We're going to lose it if enough people don't take a stand against those who wish to change it (there's that word again!)

Here's what fascism looks like. Does the First Amendment ring a bell? Here's another hair raising example of fascism. How's that for "hope and change?"

Mark Steyn has a good piece which addresses Obama's abuse of power. which is pretty scary considering he doesn't have any yet. If he can do this as a candidate, what kind of president would he be? See Steyn's piece here.

God Bless Tom Tancredo!

It's about time someone in Congress tells the United Nations to get the hell out of this country. Way to go Tom Tancredo!
( WASHINGTON, DC ) – U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Littleton) introduced legislation today that would effectively move the United Nations headquarters out of the United States. The legislation is being introduced amid incessant anti-American and anti-Jewish political grandstanding from the podium of the General Assembly.

“The U.N. has coddled brutal dictators, anti-Semites, state sponsors of terrorism, and nuclear proliferators – while excluding democratic countries from membership and turning a blind eye to humanitarian tragedies and gross violations of human rights around the globe,” Tancredo said. “The U.N.’s continued presence in the United States is an embarrassment to our nation, and the time has come for this ineffective organization to pack its bags and hit the road.”

The United Nations is hosting dictators from around the world this week, including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran’s brutal dictator. His speech has drawn thousands of protestors in New York City.

Tancredo’s bill, dubbed the U.N. Eviction Act, would direct Attorney General Michael Mukasey to initiate condemnation proceedings against all United Nations properties within the United States, and sell the property to the highest bidder on the open market. The proceeds will be given to the Treasury Department to pay down the national debt. The bill would also bar the future purchase of property in the United States or U.S. territories by the U.N. or any of its agencies, and revokes the diplomatic privileges and immunities that U.N. officials and representatives currently enjoy.
This is good news! Write or call your Congressman and tell him you support Tancredo's bill and you want these thugs out of New York and out of this country!

Doug Giles: "If It Was Up to Obama, This Woman Would be Dead"

You gotta love the undying, in your face tenacity of Doug Giles, that is, of course if your not the object of his righteous rage.

His most recent column, If It Was Up to Obama, This Woman Would be Dead is bound to stir the ire of Obama and his minions. It's a riveting piece about Gianna Jessen who miraculously survived an abortion 31 years ago. Visit her website and read the above linked Giles piece and if you haven't seen Ms. Jessen's ad, be sure to watch it here!

Thank God that an ever increasing new media base is successfully exposing the deceptive leftist agenda for what it is. Once exposed, it's not at all difficult to discern the good guys from the bad.

Obama is responding to Ms. Jessen's ad after waiting almost a week since it first aired. See his ad here.

Who’s afraid of Gianna Jessen? Obama is!

The Irrepressible Drumbeat

If you only read one thing this weekend, please consider reading The Drumbeat by William Staneski at the American Thinker. You'll read it and immediately recognize this pervading zeitgeist. It aptly describes the nagging realization that we are in a seemingly never ending war for the very heart and soul of not only our country and the world, but for our own personal hearts and souls.

Allow me to tease you (or torment, as the case may be) with the first paragraph of the piece:
The drumbeat. It's always there. Day and night. Rain or shine. Winter or Summer. Sunday or Monday. It comes at you from every direction. It comes over the TV, the radio, at work, at school, in music, in the newspapers, from the politicians, in conversation with others, even in church. It wears you down. It robs you of the will to resist its message. Even short-lived victories, which stop it briefly, leave you with the knowledge that it will return; each minor victory bound to be lost to the redoubled efforts of this patient and persistent force. You can't escape it. It never stops. It never gives up. It never ends. It rains upon you from every possible angle, from every possible source.
As a Bible reader I immediately realized the author was talking about evil; the dark side; that fallen angel Lucifer aka Satan who relentlessly aims to spiritually (and sometimes physically) break us. Yup, I surmised! That's what this piece is about and I read on.

Here's the next few paragraphs:
It's the drumbeat of the left. It is political, philosophical, theological, and social. It pervades every activity. It is post-structural, post-modern, post-everything in the parlance of the day. It is tolerant, diverse, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory, egalitarian, politically correct, multicultural, globalist, and collectivist. It insists that there are no rights and wrongs, no moral absolutes. It turns everything upside down in its looking glass world. It denies the correctness of all that produced what our culture revered before the deconstruction of the world in accordance with the tenets of cultural Marxism.

It denies God, human exceptionalism, and the soul. We are reduced to Darwinian animals floundering in an amoral sea of meaninglessness. It is a product of the nihilistic, existentialist philosophical movement, which went hand in hand with modern art, atonal music, scientific materialism and modern physics, and the generally discordant nature of the twentieth century.

It is said that a fish is not aware of the water in which it swims since it is totally immersed in it. This is the way cultural Marxism is taking over our world in its inexorable Gramscian march. We swim in it. It enters every pore of our existence. It is everywhere. We can't escape it. Many people accept this world without even realizing it, just as the fish accepts the water in which it swims. They don't realize it as the left creates new conventional wisdom and new intuitions about truth.

The cultural Marxists convince us that the truth is that there is no truth. And even though this unresolvable paradox lies at the very center of all this, the constant drumbeat keeps the masses in line, anesthetized enough to not make an issue of it. Fed a constant diet of sex, drugs, poisonous pop culture, materialistic trinkets, and unkeepable promises of security provided by huge leftist government, ever more globalist in nature, the masses are diverted from realizing, as they are told there is no truth, that this claim itself is subject to the same test. It is logically impossible for the leftist drumbeat to be true by its own axioms.
Please be sure to read the rest of the piece. It's spot on!

As far as my predisposed thoughts of this piece being about the wiles of the devil, I'd have to say I was right. If you were the devil and wanted to disparage and destroy mankind, can you think of a better way to do it?

"We Are All Sarah Palins Now!"

The Countess at All Things Beautiful reminded me of the the famous line, "We Are All Jews Now" and it dawned on me that after two weeks of smears by leftist elitists in the media and the Obama campaign, that we are all Sarah Palins now!

That's right! Listen up you leftist weenies. We, who wholeheartedly support Gov. Palin's conservatism and her family values and everything else she stands for, men and women alike, out number you metro-sexual, feminist, wacko tree hugging vegans who value the lives of American killing Islamo-fascists more than you do innocent babies.

We've had it with your corruption of American values and since you've made it your goal to destroy this lady because she is all that you aren't, we will fight for her like you've never seen any awakened giant fight. You little extremists don't have a chance because you're on the dark side and you are all divided into your creepy little factions. You're losers and you're losers from the top down. You're not only losers, you're disgusting losers!

You can't fight honorably so you hire greasy, slip and fall lawyers to do your dirty work. Go ahead with your vacuous indictments and snide smears. The vast majority of Americans see right through your emptiness. You are embarrassingly without substance. Whatever substance you have you can't share because it is antithetical to the very foundations of this country, so your victory is totally dependent on deception and vitriol.

You are despicable; you know who and what you are and you don't even care that you are despicable because you know you must do whatever is necessary to be victorious!

It must really suck to be you!

"You can put lipstick on a pig..."

Be sure to go to Hugh Hewitt's blog for the latest Obama gaffe, no, egregious judgment when snidely referring to Gov. Palin.

Is this is the best and brightest that the leftists have to run against the republicans?

See the video for yourself and note the audience response...they know who he's referring to. This is going to make a mark on his campaign...maybe even a wound!

She Who Must Be Destroyed

...or, why the media loves to hate Sarah Palin. Here are just a few of the reasons:
Why do the pampered poodles of the elite media loathe Sarah so much? Let’s go down the list.

She’s only 44 years old. She’s just not seasoned enough - and if you don’t believe me, just ask Gloria Steinem, age 74, or Barbara Walters, age 78, or Sally Quinn, age 67, or Eleanor Clift, age 68, or Andrea Mitchell, age 61, or Gail Collins, age 62. Why, up on the stage, it has been noted that you can distinguish Sarah’s ankles from her calves. She’s never had a Botox injection. The hags of the Hamptons speak as one on this issue. Snow White Palin must be stopped. Anybody got a poisoned apple?

How can she be qualified when she doesn’t have a single $1.2-million-a-year lobbyist in her family? How can she relate to “lunch-bucket” Americans the way lunch-bucket blowhard Joe Biden can?

She admits smoking pot as a teenager, which sets a terrible example for the youth of America, unlike Barack Obama, who admits smoking pot as a teenager, and whose “refreshing candor” is a breath of fresh air after eight years of Cheney-Bush.

She went to multiple colleges as an undergraduate, which shows how flighty and immature she is, unlike Barack Obama, who went to multiple colleges as an undergraduate, which shows the inquisitive nature of his intelligence, which has been such an inspiration, at least to everyone who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

She has been known to put out a flag - an American flag, of all things - on the Fourth of July.

The pregnancy and impending shotgun marriage of her teen daughter, Bristol, sets a terrible example for the youth of America, unlike the pregnancy of the teen movie character “Juno,” who sets a wonderful example for the youth of America by refusing to marry.

Sarah Palin is so stupid that on Friday she called the Penn State football team the “Nittaly Lions” - oh wait, scratch that, that was Barack Obama, who again proved his intellect by showing he has much weightier issues on his mind than college football. And who even cares about Penn State anyway, it’s not an Ivy League school.
And that's not even a comprehensive list...hit the link and read the entire piece for more reasons to hate her.

One Baby They're Not Going to Abort!

From the witty folks at Lucianne.com and of course Michael Ramirez.

Fair and Balanced Small-Town Residents

Ya gotta love this! Cedarburg, Wisconsin has had enough of the "drive-by media" lies and distorted news coverage. You might say they're "mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore!"

I love it when this happens:
CEDARBURG, Wisc. -- Hundreds of angry people in this small town outside Milwaukee taunted reporters and TV crews traveling with Sen. John McCain on Friday, chanting "Be fair!" and pointing fingers at a pack of journalists as they booed loudly.

On the first leg of the "McCain Street USA" tour -- which will take the Republican presidential nominee and his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, to small towns across the heartland -- the 30 or so reporters and crew were walking back to their buses to join the McCain motorcade when hundreds of townspeople started yelling.

"Stop lying! You are all liars! Tell the truth!" one woman yelled from the front of the pack.

The crowd was not menacing or threatening, but was clearly angry.

"You're telling lies! Stop the lies!" one man yelled. Asked why the crowd was so angry, Linda J. Green of Mequon, Wisc., said: "I'm thinking the press is very biased."

"I think the press is very liberal and very slanted against the McCain-Palin ticket. Would you ask a man if his kids were being taken care of while he's out campaigning?"

She said the coverage of Mrs. Palin is flat-out sexist. "The media has called her a sexy librarian look. Would you say that Obama is a sexy Will Smith look? They called her Tina Fey's sister, only sexier. I think you're being very sexist."
Can you say backlash?

Why Our Enemies are Cheering for Obama

At least one Terrorist nation is applauding Obama-Biden and blasting McCain-Palin as the Presidential campaign forges on. Can anyone really be surprised by this?

The Battle Begins

My observation of the McCains last night was that you can't call them hypocritical elitists. They may be wealthy, but you can't say they don't put their money where their mouth is. We learned a lot about Cindy McCain last night. She hasn't been one to flaunt her accomplishments and acts of international charity but accomplished and charitable she is. She would make a good First Lady!

We learned a lot more about John McCain during this convention as well. He's not a Monday morning quarterback when it comes to defending this country; nor is anyone in his family. They talk the talk and then walk it.

There's a lot not to like about McCain's willingness to cater to those on the left, but there's much to like and admire about him as well.

As for the past two conventions...the latter far exceeded the former in electricity and substance.

Now the new battles begin in this war over the future of this country.

Like McCain who said he fell in love with this country when he thought he had lost it while in the Hanoi Hilton, he gained the strength to fight for her even harder. I hope the vast majority of Americans will fall back in love with America and fight even harder for freedom and the American way of life.

There will be some tough fights in the next two months and they're not going to be pretty. The good part about political and culture wars is that it's easy to recognize the good guys from the bad guys.

May the good guys win by an unprecedented large margin.

Sarah Delivers!

No wonder the left is terrified of her and will stop at nothing to destroy her and her family. She is everything the left isn't and to make matters worse for them, they are the ones who look to be male chauvinist pigs and contra-feminist. Is it any surprise that the leftist feminists would caterwaul that Palin should be staying home with her children?

The left is totally threatened by her!

There's no surprise here. Rush said it best yesterday. The left sees her as the ultimate threat just like they saw Clarence Thomas as the ultimate threat. They can't handle it when minorities rise through the ranks without the help of leftist affirmative action organizations.

There is palpable hate for her from the left. The long knives are out to render her unfit to become vice-president.

If this doesn't expose the bigoted main stream media for what it is, then nothing will. They've long ago tossed out all vestiges of objectivity. Ya think this might have something to do with low ratings and unprecedented decreases in newspaper circulation and ad revenues?

I couldn't wipe the smile from my face throughout the course of her speech. She was spectacular!
She's one of us and is completely antithetical to the Washington media elites. She rendered them as nattering fools, which is why they will continue to do what they must to destroy her...er, attempt to destroy her and her family.

God bless and strengthen Sarah Palin and her family from the ruthless onslaught which is sure to come from those who are most threatened by her.
