Video: Bush & McCain warned Dems of financial mess

Not nearly enough people have seen this hard to find video. Please watch it and pass it on!

As is so often the case, those who are responsible for the problem are the first and loudest to blame others.

Socialism Succinctly Defined

Hat tip to Michelle Malkin for this definitive symbol. Our new national motto might as well be, "What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine also."

Hat tip to NewsBusters.org for this:

The Left can't handle debate. The free exchange of ideas will not be tolerated. Critics must be silenced and silenced they will be. Welcome to the Leftist era of Obama.

Paglia Pounds Obama in Stimulus Bill Rant

Camille Paglia isn't your basic "homophobic, racist, intolerant White Christian male" who eschews all things "progressive." Hell, she personifies the progressive ideology and she isn't exactly pleased with Obama's so-called "Stimulus" program.

Check it out for yourself.

You gotta love Camille (at least once in a while!)

America is about to embrace socialism...who gives a rat's ass about A-Rod?

Yes I know he's the highest paid baseball player, but who can really care about petty sports trivia when Obama and the majority in Congress are on the cusp of signing into reality the largest spending bill in America's history which will amount to the unprecedented national socialization of America?

A-Rod ? Who really gives a flip when America as we've known it is slip sliding away so quickly that we can't even grasp what is happening before our very blind eyes!

The Community Organizer-in-Chief

Phyllis Schlafly aptly explains what "Community Organizing" is all about. It's a very important read since the role of community organizer was and is Obama's main qualification for becoming president. If not for the salmonella outbreak in the peanut industry, "peanut farmer" might be an equally impressive qualifier for president as President Obama will ever increasingly be compared to Jimmy Carter as the long weeks and months roll on. For now, we will fall back on the high status of "community organizer" as the "impeccable qualification du jour" for the presidency.

Here are a couple of the money paragraphs from Ms. Schlafly's column:

Immediately after the Democratic National Convention in Colorado, the Boston Globe published a letter from L. David Alinsky. He boasted about how Barack Obama had made extremely effective use of his training in the methods of David's late father, the famous Chicago radical, Saul D. Alinsky.
David Alinsky gloated: "I am proud to see that my father's model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing to affect the Democratic campaign in 2008. It is a fine tribute to Saul Alinsky as we approach his 100th birthday."

What was Saul Alinsky's model that Barack Obama used so successfully to defeat the Clinton machine plus the Republican Party in a dramatic one-two punch never before seen in politics? What is known today as "the Alinsky ideology and Alinsky concepts of mass organization for power" are fully set forth in Alinsky's 1971 book called Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals. Alinsky's worldview was that mankind is divided into three parts: "the Haves, the Have-Nots, and the Have-a-Little, Want Mores." His purpose was to teach the Have-Nots how to take power and money away from the Haves by creating mass organizations to seize power, and he frankly admitted that "this means revolution."

He wanted a radical change of America's social and economic structure, and he planned to achieve that through creating public discontent and moral confusion. Alinsky developed strategies to achieve power through mass organization, and organizing was his word for revolution.

He wanted to move the United States from capitalism to socialism, where the means of production would be owned by all the people (i.e., the government). A believer in economic determinism, he viewed unemployment, disease, crime and bigotry as byproducts of capitalism.

"Change" was Alinsky's favorite word, used on page after page. "I will argue," he wrote, "that man's hopes lie in the acceptance of the great law of change."

Alinsky used what he called "general concepts of change" to move us toward "a science of revolution." What he called "change" meant massive change in our socio-economic structure, and what he called "organizing" meant pursuing confrontational political tactics.

Alinsky taught the Have-Nots to "hate the establishment of the Haves" because they have "power, money, food, security, and luxury." He claimed that "justice, morality, law, and order, are mere words used by the Haves to justify and secure their status quo."
You can't not read the rest of this illuminating piece. Hit the link now and finish it.

Just imagine...a community organizer is, for now, the most powerful person in the world. By the end of his term there may be someone even scarier on the world scene who has become the most powerful person in the world, if for no other reason than Obama will have thought he could appease and accommodate our enemies by disarming and "making nice."

What will it take for deluded and apathetic Americans to realize what is happening before their blinded eyes?

Big Govt Viagra

From the fertile mind of Michael Ramirez.

If you can't beat 'em, mock 'em!

The left has been providing a laugh a minute these past couple of weeks (for all of history for that matter...too bad they're so damn dangerous when they're in power). The folks at NewsBusters are more than happy to capitalize on the bafoonery:

Headline of the Day

My favorite headline today is from Charles Krauthammer:
The Fierce Urgency of Pork
The urgency, of course, is that this porcine bill of unprecedented magnitude will be passed before the hellacious details are exposed to an unaccepting majority. Everything this administration wishes to do will be urgent for that very reason. The devil is always in the details and President Obama doesn't want us to know about them until it is too late.

So much for transparency.

Never Forget; Government IS the Problem

Every passing day President Reagan becomes more prescient than ever:

Reason # 573 Why We Love Sarah Palin

#573 She doesn't take any crap from whiney, holier than thou, politically correct left-wing do gooders.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) defended herself Wednesday against an ad featuring actress Ashley Judd that accuses her of “championing the slaughter of wildlife.”

In a statement released through the governor’s office, Palin called the ad, paid for by Defenders of Wildlife, “reprehensible and hypocritical.”

“The ad campaign by this extreme fringe group, as Alaskans have witnessed over the last several years, distorts the facts about Alaska’s wildlife management programs,” Palin said. “These audacious fundraising attempts misrepresent what goes on in Alaska, and I encourage people to learn the facts about Alaska’s positive record of managing wildlife for abundance.”

“Shame on the Defenders of Wildlife for twisting the truth in an effort to raise funds from innocent and hard-pressed Americans struggling with these rough economic times,” she continued.

Ya gotta love Sarah Palin!

Nancy Pelosi's Amazing Quote of the Day

Hear it for yourself here and/or right here. She claims that "we lose 500 million American jobs each month we don't pass"....Obama's porcine spending bill. Keep in mind that Ms. Pelosi is third in line for the presidency if, heaven forbid, anything should happen to the president and vice-president.

Of course you won't hear her bafoonery on any of the Lapdog Media Outlets.

It must be so embarrassing to be a democrat.

John Stossel: Must See TV

Thanks to Let's Think About That for posting this:

It's never the politician's fault, is it? The fact that their approval ratings hover around the same level as whale crap must lead them to believe they never have to say they're sorry since we already know they're sorry. Sorry, indeed!

Someone once said we have the best politicians money can buy. That must have been back when the dollar was worth something!

Kentucky: No Power, No FEMA, No Comment

More and more we're having to get real news from the UK, Canada and of course, Talk Radio as opposed to the domestic (read emasculated) MSM which no longer come to grips with contra-progressive coverage of the Obama administration. If any given story doesn't promote the Obama collectivist agenda, well then "let's just sweep it under the rug."

Right now there are "a million people suffering and 42 people dead because of severe winter weather in "flyover country," according to a piece in the Canada Free Press:
Thousands of people in ice-caked Kentucky awoke in motels and shelters, asked to leave their homes by authorities who said emergency teams in some areas were too strapped to reach everyone in need of food, water and warmth.Dozens of deaths have been reported and many people are pleading for a faster response to the power outages. About 438,000 homes and businesses across Kentucky were without power, down from more than 600,000, the largest outage in state history, and as far away as Oklahoma, around 10,000 customers still had no electricity.

The outages disabled water systems in much of the western part of the state, where some in rural areas resorted to dipping buckets in a creek. Authorities warned it could be days or weeks before power was restored in the most remote spots.
Where's FEMA? Why hasn't Obama visited these damaged areas yet? What's going on? Where's the media on this? Why no White House News conference?

A Trillion Dollar Jockstrap?
