40 Days for Life

Something is desperately wrong in America…
In a nation that was founded on an unalienable right to life, endowed by
our Creator, more than 1,200,000 innocent children are killed by abortion
each year. In 2008, the death toll from abortion surpassed 50 million.
Millions of women have been wounded by abortion – some physically,
and many more emotionally and spiritually. Fathers who have lost children
to abortion have been shoved to the sidelines, abandoned to lives of
regret.
Recent election cycles have placed more abortion advocates in the highest
offices in our land, and Barack Obama has promised to make the
abortion agenda a top priority in his administration. Millions more innocent
lives could be lost to abortion in the next few years – unless
something drastic changes now
.

Who can't care about life? It's our most precious gift from our Heavenly Father. I stumbled across an extremely worthy cause in which thousands of people all across the country are actively participating this very moment. The name of the organization is 40 Days for Life, and you can be involved in any number of ways without ever touching your checkbook or stash of credit cards.

If you're a praying person you can help. If you're willing to fast, you can ramp up the effectiveness of this fight even more.

We're in the midst of a very real spiritual war and what better way to re-arm and put on the full body armor of Christ than by getting involved in a fight so important to God the Father and Jesus Christ our brother, not to mention all of mankind. It's a winner take all caged fight of a lifetime that is and will have a lasting effect on all of us. Don't be on the wrong side of this momentous fight. Get involved!

Thomas Jefferson gave this scary wake-up call more than 200 years ago:
And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever.

I Wonder if the Murdering Professor was a Tea Partier

The murder of 3 professors at the University of Alabama in Huntsville by fellow professor Amy Bishop has caused me to wonder about all manor of things regarding this professor.

I wonder if she was a "birther" or "climate change denier." I wonder if she was a whacked out gun nut who stock piled guns and claimed NRA membership status. I wonder if she was a Glenn Beck aficionado and had all his books. I wonder if she was Tea Party extremist who worshipped at the Sarah Palin altar. I wonder if she was a radical pro-lifer who openly wished ill upon every abortion doctor in the country.

I wonder if Rush Limbaugh influenced her to cold heartedly murder 3 of her co-horts.

I wonder whose books were in her personal library. I wonder who she voted for in the last election.

I wonder if she was a right-wing fundamentalist Christian who upheld the 10 commandments and lived by the Golden Rule.

I wonder why she didn't know that Universities are gun free zones.

I wonder about these things because those on the Left are the first to assume these are typical characteristics of whacked out mass murderers but they are derelict when one who espouses their own ideologies ends up being the perpetrator.

As it turns out, according to a family member, she was a "far-left political extremist" who was "obsessed with President Obama to the point of being off-putting."

Understatement of the Year

From the U.K.'s Times Online:

Top British scientist says UN panel (on Climate Change) is losing credibility.
...ya think?!

Robert Watson, chief scientist at Defra, the environment ministry, who chaired the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) from 1997 to 2002, was speaking after more potential inaccuracies emerged in the IPCC’s 2007 benchmark report on global warming.

The most important is a claim that global warming could cut rain-fed north African crop production by up to 50% by 2020, a remarkably short time for such a dramatic change. The claim has been quoted in speeches by Rajendra Pachauri, the IPCC chairman, and by Ban Ki-moon, the UN secretary-general.

This weekend Professor Chris Field, the new lead author of the IPCC’s climate impacts team, told The Sunday Times that he could find nothing in the report to support the claim. The revelation follows the IPCC’s retraction of a claim that the Himalayan glaciers might all melt by 2035.

The African claims could be even more embarrassing for the IPCC because they appear not only in its report on climate change impacts but, unlike the glaciers claim, are also repeated in its Synthesis Report.

This report is the IPCC’s most politically sensitive publication, distilling its most important science into a form accessible to politicians and policy makers.

It's not just the U.N. Panel on Climate Change that is losing (or has lost) credibility; it's anybody and everybody who continue to desperately cling to this bogus man-created myth of global warming, er, climate change for the sole purpose of redistribution of our wealth to third and fourth world thuggish dictatorships.

The list of climate change hoaxes are becoming too numerous to catalog in any one post. To the extent the hoaxers have any credibility at all shows how gullible and uninformed some of the masses are. However, the masses are rapidly catching on to the leftist head fake, with each new expose' which seem to be surfacing almost daily.

Can you say "house of cards?"
