May Day
In the late '50's and early '60's May Day was still celebrated in this country. I recall being in grade school when we would exchange "May flowers" among our classmates much like we would exchange Valentines. Maybe it was during the Cold War when we wised up to the Communist Holiday and nixed it from our celebratory calendars. Just for the record, the nefarious May Day celebrations predate and transcend Communism. See for yourself.
But alas, the "enemies within" (as much as I hate to borrow anything from Michael Savage) have resurrected the Communist and Pagan High Day to demonstrate the power and influence of illegal aliens by attempting to thwart commerce and disrupt society on Monday, May 1st. How nice! And what better way could they show their appreciation for being here (illegally) and prove their allegiance to their adopted country (my tongue couldn't be more firmly planted in my cheek!).
This will be an instructive day.
Americans need to make a mental note of companies that close down on Monday in support of, or for lack of employees who take off to demonstrate. Maybe they are hiring a disproportionate number of illegals and need to be reported.
We need to take note of the squishy politicians who fear saying anything so as to not offend the illegals (future voters). What is it about the rule of law the politicians misunderstand, and didn't they take an oath to uphold our Constitution?
Take notes, boys and girls, and remember what happens on Monday. This could be a defining day in history. Will our elected leaders uphold the law or will they succumb to mob mentality. Remember who your elected officials are, where they stand, and hold them accountable.
Blanket amnesty cannot be an option. What would that say to those who have immigrated legally and those who are currently in the long and costly process of going through the immigration process legally?
Remember; it's the goal of the illegal aliens participating in Monday's demonstrations, to shut down commerce and to abstain from buying anything. What Americans need to do is shop and buy in record numbers . Go shopping! Make note of those who close and let them know you don't support them.
