Glenn Beck: MUST SEE TV Wednesday Night!

Glenn Beck has been touting his TV Special this week about the Global War against radical Islam. He previewed bits of it on his radio show this week and according to Beck, his future with the network (CNN) is on the line if he doesn't produce some decent numbers. Why? Because the folks at CNN (and every other network) probably realize that America has its collective head in the sand and has no real interest in what the radical Islamists have in mind for us and the rest of the "unbelieving" world that refuses to embrace Islam.

Beck's Special is called, Exposed: The Extremist Agenda. According to Beck, it contains information about which the vast majority of America (and the world, for that matter) is virtually unaware and uninformed.

Here's what Glenn has to say about the special:

"As most of you probably know, I grew up outside of Seattle, Washington. My career in radio has taken me all over the place…Baltimore, Tampa, Philadelphia…and now I work in New York City. I’m a pretty regular guy (okay, not exactly—but close) and not much different from most of you. I’ve been married, divorced, married again, and a father four times along the way. So how then did I get on such a kick about this Islamic Extremism, World War III, End-of-the-world business…and why is it so important to me that I get you informed about it as well? Well, it’s really pretty simple.

First of all, I love my family more than anything and will do anything to keep them safe. They are my life, so even the hint that something or someone might threaten them gets me riled. But even more directly than that, I care because someone presented the information to me. Given the stark, undeniable facts and evidence, it was impossible for me to not get infuriated. And I know that you’ll feel the same—the truth is too compelling to ignore.

You guys know that I’m essentially a rodeo clown who got a lucky break getting to do what I do. But at the same time, because of my job, I get exposed to a lot of information that most people don’t. For instance, I didn’t know about the documentary “Obsession” until someone sent it to me, and it’s been that way with all kinds of books and videos and articles—people think I can help get their idea exposure, so they send me their stuff. Sometimes the ideas are, how can I say this, um…"eccentric?" But other times I get to see stuff that blows me away and I can’t believe that these stories aren’t on the front page of every newspaper and leading every newscast in the country. And because I’m this rodeo-clown-made-good and not a super serious newsman or journalist, people aren’t afraid to extend themselves. And that makes us both lucky.

So even if you don’t consider yourself a "politics" person or can’t see how what’s happening on the other side of the world has anything to do with you, I’m asking you this: if you’ve ever enjoyed one of my dumb jokes or learned something or simply got through the day a little easier by tuning in to me, watch my show on Wednesday night. I believe with all of my heart that I’m going to give you some crucial information that will fundamentally change the way you view just about everything. I know that sounds like a pretty tall order, but like it or not, we’re living in a world where what we think about God (whatever that word means to you) has put us at odds with some pretty dangerous people. Just think back to 9-11 if you still need convincing—3000 innocent lives were taken by extremist thinking and behavior, and literally millions more here and across the West are at stake if we don’t snap out of our complacency.

The lines between us and them are very clear, and if you don’t know where they are or who’s on which side, I promise to explain everything. Wednesday night may be the most important TV show I ever do and I’ve worked harder to get it on the air than anything in my entire career. It’s that important to me. And while you may not realize it yet, it’s important to you too."

We can't afford to hide our heads in the sand...Especially now when the dems are essentially demanding that we surrender to the terrorists in Iraq by pulling out before the Iraq government is ready to fend for themselves.

We live in dire times. We need to know who our enemy is and what they have in mind for us. America HAS to wake up before it's too late.
