Something to remember for Veterans Day

I got this in an email today from a friend and no doubt it's making the rounds. The quote is attributed to Prime Minister Tony Blair, but I haven't checked it out. Whether or not he said it, it couldn't be more true and fitting on this, the eve of Veterans Day.

When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out. Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom."

Thank God for the redemption of Jesus Christ and thank God for the selfless American G.I.
