Behold, the Florida Democrat, Alan Grayson

Meet Rep. Alan Grayson, democrat from Florida. That's right, a democrat. That once proud party which has become the party of socialized health care, nationalized auto manufacturers and banks, the party of abortion and euthanasia, the party of Margaret Sanger, the party of Jimmy Carter and Bill and Hillary Clinton, the party of ACORN and SEIU, the party of the Charlie Gibson, Katie Couric and Chris Matthews, the party of Al Sharpton, the party of trial attorneys, the party of eco-terrorists and PETA, the party of Al Gore and Michael Moore, the party of the White House Czars, the party of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, the party of the Hollywood left who demands that Roman Polanski be set free, not to mention the party of President Obama, who is uncomfortable with the word "victory" and is more interested in bringing the Olympics to his home town of Chicago than meeting with General Dan McNeill who is in charge of the troops in Afghanistan.

Yes, that democrat party!

How proud the members of the democrat party must be! They also garner the support of Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Libya's Qaddafi and the Communist Party of the USA. Who wouldn't want to be a democrat these days, but I digress....

Give a listen to Rep. Grayson and pay special attention to the facts which back up his vacuous diatribe:

I guess he must have forgotten to footnote his little speech with the facts.

If that weren't bad enough here he is comparing our "health care" situation to the holocaust:

I wonder how many thousand people die each year who DO have health care insurance? Does health care insurance insure against death? Will people live forever with Obamacare? If so, then why will there be "panels" to determine who will live and who will die and whether or not Granny's plug gets pulled?

Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement, not just for Jews

Today is Yom Kippur which is also known as the Day of Atonement for many Christians around the world. Many think of this day and the upcoming Fall Festivals as Jewish Holidays when, in fact, they are called the Feasts of the Lord (Leviticus 23). Of course, this day is not a feast day as such, it's a day of fasting and a day of prayer.

If there was ever a need for a day of fasting and prayer in this country and around the world, it is right now.

As individuals and as a nation, we need God in our lives more than ever. What better way to acknowledge Him but by forsaking food and water for a day and humbly invite Him into our lives.

It might change your life. It could change the direction of this country!

Morning Companion: "Sarah Palin Vs. Hugo Chavez"

My friend Lenny Cacchio wrote an outstanding piece comparing two distinctly different philosophies which are clearly typified in two quotes; one by Sarah Palin and one by Hugo Chavez. Here are the quotes:
"We don't believe that human nature is perfectible; we're suspicious of government efforts to fix problems because often what it's trying to fix is human nature, and that is impossible. It is what it is. But that doesn't mean that we're resigned to any negative destiny. Not at all. I believe in striving for the ideal, but in realistic confines of human nature...

The opposite of a common-sense conservative is a liberalism that holds that there is no human problem that government can't fix if only the right people are put in charge. Unfortunately, history and common sense are not on its side. We don't trust utopian promises; we deal with human nature as it is."

– Sarah Palin
Now here's Chavez:
“Those who want to go directly to hell, they can follow capitalism. And those of us who want to build heaven on earth, we will follow socialism.”

- Hugo Chavez.
Lenny has some brilliant commentary on these divergent viewpoints at his blog, Morning Companion. Be sure to check it out.

Sarah Palin: "Best Wishes for the Jewish High Holidays"

Sarah Palin offered her best wishes for those observing the Jewish High Holidays, or as they are referred to in scripture, the Feasts of the Lord (Leviticus 23):

Todd and I would like to offer our best wishes to the Jewish community as they celebrate the High Holy Days. With the celebration of the Jewish New Year this week and the observance of the Day of Atonement next week, we are reminded of the hopeful commitment to renewal and peace exemplified by the Jewish tradition and the Jewish people throughout history.

Yom Kippur, the most solemn and important of the Jewish holy days, is a time of reflection and supplication for forgiveness. The timeless human struggle to promote justice, harmony, and peace is seen here in this process of atonement – in humbly seeking pardon for past wrongs in the hope of a new beginning. It reminds us that if we wish to co-exist globally, we must all strive for forgiveness and tolerance.

A speech was given at the United Nations General Assembly yesterday that was full of hateful anti-Semitic rhetoric. It was a shameful display before a body whose very charter is premised on the need for co-operation and harmony in pursuit of peaceful co-existence between nations. Such talk was especially abhorrent coming as it did during the Jewish High Holidays. The world community must speak with one voice in declaring anti-Semitism and all forms of intolerance and racism utterly unacceptable. There is no place in the community of peace-loving nations for those who traffic in hate or deny the terrible atrocity of the Nazi Holocaust.

In this holy season, we join the Jewish people in the struggle to promote justice, harmony, and peace. May God bless them.

- Sarah Palin
Now there's a leader with real class!

"Barack Hussein Obama Uhm Uhm Uhm"

Coming to a Govt Indoctrination Center near you:

"Barack Hussein Obama...Uhm Uhm Uhm" indeed!

Hat tip to DRUDGE REPORT.

Here are the lyrics, thanks to WorldNetDaily:
Uhm, uhm, uhm, Barack Hussein Obama
He said all should lend a hand to make the country strong again
Uhm, uhm, uhm, Barack Hussein Obama
He said we must be fair today, equal work means equal pay
Uhm, uhm, uhm, Barack Hussein Obama
He said take a stand, make sure everyone gets a chance
Uhm, uhm, uhm, Barack Hussein Obama
He said red, yellow, black and white, all are equal in his sight
Uhm, uhm, uhm, Barack Hussein Obama
YEAH. Barack Hussein Obama
The lyrics also appear to include:

Hello Mr. President, We honor you today
For all your great accomplishments, we all do say hooray
Hooray, Mr. President you are No. 1
The first black American to lead this nation.

Mark Levin: "There's a new leader of the Free World."

Mark Levin stated on his radio show this afternoon that there's a new leader of the Free World and his name is Benjamin Netanyahu. Unlike anybody else, Netanyahu had the cahones to ask those who sat through Ahmadinejad's speech, Have You No Shame?

It was a question the president of the United States should have asked.

Pity!

Rich's Quote of the Day

I humbly submit my own quote of the day:
When a president continually apologizes for the country that elected him, you have a president who is truly very sorry and the people for whom that sorry president apologizes becomes increasingly sorry they elected him; ergo, we have a sorry president and a sorry electorate.

Everyone is saying no to Obama...Why?

The Jerusalem Post has a good piece which explains why everyone is saying no to Obama. In a word:
It's the economy, stupid.

Everyone has worked it out by now: The great secret is out. America's economy has made Obama a weak president, and he will likely remain weak throughout his first term. He has about two years to pull the American economy out of its free-fall before he begins his reelection campaign. If he can do it, and that's a big if, chances are good that he'll get reelected, and in his second term he can try to pull some geopolitical strings. But for the next three years, expect to see a world that says no to Obama. No meaningful and dramatic diplomatic initiative can come out of the White House in the next three years, as long as Obama remains weak.

ACORN's Fingerprints

Why ACORN Does the things they do

Normal Americans are incredulous that ACORN employees in several locations located in several states as well as Washington D.C. actually instructed a would-be pimp and his prostitute/wife how to evade the law. What gives here? Were those instances flukes or is that standard operating procedure for ACORN? You might be surprised!

There's a piece in the NYPost titled, Sowing the seeds of destruction which shines the light of truth into the why's and wherefore's of ACORN:

Just how nutty is ACORN?

Very, say longtime watchers of the extreme leftwing group that sprouted out of a radical 60s anti-government movement.

For decades ACORN has presented itself as a grassroots network dedicated to improving the lives of the poor.

But there's more to ACORN than its do-gooder veneer.

Just ask the banks, corporations and politicians who've been the target of ACORN's shameless shenanigans over the past 40 years.

Here's how the tiny seed of 1960s radicalism blossomed into a well-funded, national organization with political connections reaching all the way to the White House:

The article shows why ACORN has sown the seeds of destruction in any given community.

This is an important piece that deserves your attention so you'll know what's been going on within ACORN. Don't forget, President Obama's ties To ACORN are more substantial than first believed.

To be sure; ACORN believes in Hope and Change!

Doug Giles: No, It Wasn’t My Idea for Hannah Giles to Dress Like a Hooker and Infiltrate ACORN

Doug Giles' most recent column is a must read if you have been following the demise of the ignominious ACORN which came about because of two courageous and enterprising young citizen journalists.

Doug Giles is Hannah Giles' father and he is able to refute some of the false accusations that are being made against her and James O'Keefe, the undercover film maker.

Be sure to read this timely piece. Here's how it starts:
It’s been quite interesting watching and reading the statements coming from ACORN and various “news” organizations about the “facts” of the Giles/O’Keefe ACORN caper. Here’s a little sample of what they have been saying about the two evil citizen journalists, Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe, the ones who picked on poor, poor, poor, old ACORN.

Check it out, the truth according to nutty ACORN (and what really happened):
Don't miss this one!

Prayer In The Square

Now this is a big deal. Who would have ever thought New Yorkers would come together on Times Square to humbly ask God for forgiveness. This, my friends, is a very good sign for this once great country.

This is something to watch. If you are a praying person, participate with the good people who will come together for this event.
God bless these organizers. God bless the participants and God bless America!

New Blog: "The Young Reaganites Project"

Give Alex over at The Young Reaganites Project some hits. His new blog is up and running and I think it's going to be a good one. Alex is in the process of getting his juris doctorate here in the D/FW area. That's great! We need all the conservative attorneys we can get.

Here's a sneak peak:
A vehicle at 15 mpg and 12,000 miles per year uses 800 gallons a year of gasoline.

A vehicle at 25 mpg and 12,000 miles per year uses 480 gallons a year.

So, the average clunker transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year.

They claim 700,000 vehicles – so that's 224 million gallons / year.

That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil.

5 million barrels of oil is about ¼ of one day's US consumption.

And, 5 million barrels of oil costs about $350 million dollars at $75/bbl.

So, we all contributed to spending $3 billion to save $350 million.

How good a deal was that ???

They'll probably do a great job with health care though!!

Victor Davis Hanson: The "Racist" Charge

Victor Davis Hanson has a must read piece which exposes the ineptitude and/or desperation of the White House by crying "racism." Be sure to read Anatomy of the "Racist" Charge—or, How to Turn a Setback into a Disaster.

It just keeps getting easier to differentiate the good guys from the bad guys. You don't even have to know anything about politics. All you need to do is watch what they do and see who their friends are.

Appeasing Our Enemies While Dangerously Exposing Our Allies

The indefatigable Michael Ramirez scores another one.

New Ad campaign: My Rifle, My Bible and Me

You just gotta love this...well, if you're a red blooded American living in flyover country. If you're a regular reader of the NY Times, this featured piece is no doubt, frightening...frightening, I tell you! After all, just look at that threatening photo! It has all the componants sufficient to scare the holy hell out of you; judgment, a method of execution and a 'bitter clinger' willing to carry it out. Frightening indeed!

It's a new ad campaign titled, My Rifle, My Bible and Me.

This really shouldn't concern the metrosexuals in New York City because we all know guns are illegal and NO one has guns there, right? So the ad won't be running there, unless it's just to scare them, which might not be a bad idea. But that would be only for fun.

My son sent me this link or I never would have seen it. Be sure to read it. Henry Repeating Arms, based in Bayonne, N.J. is to be praised and patronized for this ballsy ad campaign, especially being so close to New York.

Buy some of their guns and keep them on the map in this upside down Obama economy.

The Kamikaze Media

John Nolte wrote a good piece at Big Hollywood titled, Mainstream Media Fears Where Stories They Ignore May Lead. I think the article was inspired by the interview with Charlie Gibson on the Don & Roma Morning Show.

Gibson was glaringly disingenuous when he was asked about the ACORN corruption which had been covered on the Internet as well as FoxNews for at least 2 days prior to the inquiry.

Gibson said he wasn't familiar with the story. Huh? Wouldn't you assume that most big time news anchors are lifetime news junkies to the core of their being? How could any self-respecting newsy NOT know about a story that explosive? So explosive was the story that the Census Bureau had just disassociated itself from ACORN. That in itself was big news!
Could it have had something to do with the fact that his knowledge of it and failure to cover it would put him smack dab in bed with the radical leftist agenda of the White House? He couldn't admit that now, could he! Far better to make believe the story escaped him.

We, in the New Media have been referring to the MSM as the Lamestream Media, the Lap Dog Media and various other descriptive names testifying to our distrust of them and their ultimate irrelevance. Rush aptly refers to them as the State Run Media which seems to be the most accurate portrayal up to now, but Nolte, in his above linked piece, because of their self-destructive ways, thinks we should start calling them the "Kamikaze Media."

You know, it does have a nice ring to it! Be sure to read Nolte's article; it's a good one.
I'm thinking Charlie Gibson should be the new poster boy for the Kamikaze Media.

Race Card Notice of the Day

More and more, "all the news that's fit to print" is being found in Canada and the United Kingdom. Likewise is this great notice from the Canada Free Press:
Dear Liberals,

Please be advised that your Race Card account has been closed. This decision was based on your account history of excessive over-limit spending. Please destroy your card immediately as it will no longer be honored.

Sincerely,

The American People.
Be sure to read the rest of the piece by Joy Tiz.

When All Else Fails, Cry "Racism!"

You know the debate is over when they have to resort to name calling. We'll be hearing more about Jimmy Carter's comments about racism than the fact that Osama Bin Laden endorsed Jimmy Carter's book (which really IS problematic for an ex-president. It says everything you need to know about the Hamas/Hezbollah hugging Jimmy Carter).

Yes, in Obama's post racial historical presidential term it's all about racism if you disagree with him and his radical leftist policies.

Let them continue this mantra. America gets it. America is not a racist country and when Americans are outraged that a criminal organization like ACORN receives vast amounts of our money, we are outraged because they are criminal. We are outraged that our president hasn't even commented on their criminality. We are outraged because the Obama administration wants to utterly transform America by ripping the Constitution to shreds. We are outraged that he has nationalized the auto industry and financial institutions. We are outraged at the most despicable congress of all time and we don't see a lot of Blacks there.

It's not race America is concerned about; it's radical leftism that has taken over Washington D.C. That's why America is outraged!

Sorry, the racist charge is illegitimate. It doesn't hold water and only serves to prove the vacuity and fallacy of left-wing ideology.

PJTV: The Power of Iconography

The good folks at Pajamas Media did this brilliantly produced video and made it available at their site a couple of weeks ago. It didn't get nearly enough attention so I'm posting here in hopes of keeping it alive for a good while. It's an excellent piece on the power of branding and corporate logos. Maybe you've noticed the preponderance of logos in this administration.

This video dissects all the imagery of such branding/iconography; when it works powerfully and when it works powerfully against you. Please watch this, it's really well done!

Reagan's Prophetic quote of the Day

In light of the despicable ACORN corruption in at least 4 offices, it's interesting what Ronald Reagan said about Big Govt so many years ago:

Government does not solve problems; it subsidizes them.

Worthy of Congressional Rebuke?

Michael Ramirez: always worthy of our notice!

Senate votes to cut off federal funding for ACORN

Breaking news from Hot Air:
Senator Mike Johanns (R-NE) introduced an amendment to the HUD and Transportation appropriation bill to strip ACORN of all federal funding. A week ago, Johanns wouldn’t have gotten the amendment to the floor. Today, however, after three straight days of BigGovernment.com’s video exposés of ACORN offices in Washington DC, New York City, and Baltimore offering assistance to pimping, tax evasion, and trafficking in underage Salvadorean girls, Johanns not only got his vote — but he got an impressive bipartisan showing. The Senate passed the Johanns amendment 83-7.
As soon as the names of the senators who voted against the amendment are available, I will post them.

UPDATE: Here is the list of the seven who want to continue funding ACORN:
Dick Durbin (D-IL)
Roland Burris (D-IL)
Robert Casey (D-PA)
Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)
Patrick Leahy (D-VT)
Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)

New ACORN Expose' in Brooklyn office helping hookers launder earnings.

Yet another ACORN office, this time in Brooklyn, offers advice to pimp and hooker on how to hide cash and illegal house of prostitution. Nice!!!

Has congress begun an investigation into ACORN yet?

Go to the NYPost to see the video. I'm not able to embed it here.

The ACORN corruption story continues to grow so why isn't the once Mainstream Media covering it?

Compare the Obama Inauguration Aftermath with the Tea Party Aftermath

The aftermath of the Obama inauguration looked like this and I humorously suggested on January 21st, it was probably meant to be Obama's first stimulus (jobs) program; the massive clean-up, that is.

I searched long and hard to find aftermath pics of the vast Tea Party march on Washington. This is what I found: go to Gateway Pundit to see the photo-essay which shows the stark comparison between the two events.

The contrast is absolutely amazing, but not really so surprising.

Remember Dan's Bake Sale?
RUSH: Dan's Bake Sale. It all got started when Dan called and told me his friend was making copies of the Limbaugh Letter, a copyright violation, 'cause the wife wouldn't let him buy a subscription. And he wanted me to give him a freebie and, you know, these little kids are running around at that time doing bake sales, sending the proceeds to Clinton to retire the national debt, and Clinton was keeping the money and praising this as good civics and good citizenship. So that's where the bake sale idea came from. And all of this happened to help this guy get $29.95, and this guy, with all of this that went on at his benefit, this guy ran out of his own baked goods in five minutes. In five or ten minutes the stuff that he had done was all gone, and then Dan tried to do Dan's Bake Sales all over the country on his own, which, I mean he didn't have a platform. I mean, he had a golden opportunity to score big with the bake sale, but he ran out of his baked goods very quickly. But there were 65,000 people there, there was not one mess. When we were finished and everybody left, there was not a mess. There wasn't one arrest, 70,000 people, not one arrest, not one. It was a great day.

This weekend's unprecedented March on Washington was like a giant "Dan's Bake Sale!" The same people were there times 10! Hard working, God-fearing, easy-going, patriotic, conservative Americans who are used to doing things for themselves and others (like respecting private and public property and maintaining civility.)

Whereas it appears the crowd at the inauguration had no regard for anything but themselves and fully expected someone else to clean up their mess, generally speaking, of course.

What a contrast between the two groups!

A Really REALLY Big Tea Party!

It was the day We The People came to Washington. Mainstream Americans from all over the place showed up in Washington to protest everything the politicians are doing to destroy the country as we know it. It wasn't about any one thing. It was about EVERY thing! People are pissed and they can't wait to vote these arrogant miscreants out of office. Americans have been taking names and they're ready to kick some political butt.

Of course it was peaceful. These weren't rent-a-mobs; they were the salt of the earth. These are the folks that make the country work.

The numbers were unprecedented and WND is saying there were upwards of 1 million Tea Partiers marched on Washington. Some estimates went as high as 2 million.

Here's quick overview of the crowd:

Here's some raw video from AP:

Maybe you noticed the Eph. 6:12 poster. In case you're wondering what that refers to, here you go:
Ephesians 6:12 (New International Version)
12 "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

God Bless America!

Can't think of a better way to end this day, September 11, 2009 and begin a very big weekend (think: the Tea Party Express extravaganza culminating in Washington D.C.).

Hat tip to Mark Levin for playing this tonight on his show. What a great song to begin the weekend!

God has blessed America...may He continue to have mercy on us and thwart those who would destroy all that America stands for and bless us once again.

More importantly, may we turn back to God and repent of our egregious national and individual sins.

Quotes for September 11

By President George W. Bush, December 11, 2001:
"Now, we have inscribed a new memory alongside those others. It’s a memory of tragedy and shock, of loss and mourning. But not only of loss and mourning. It’s also a memory of bravery and self-sacrifice, and the love that lays down its life for a friend–even a friend whose name it never knew."

More recently from Rush Limbaugh:
It was not a crime. It was an act of war.

Second Video Shows ACORN Officials Helping 'Pimp,' 'Prostitute' in Washington DC

Yet another video has been released exposing ACORN corruption; this time in Washington D.C.

Which is the larger news; another example of ACORN's corruption or the NON-coverage of the story by the once mainstream media?

Thanks to FOXNews.com for this:
The newly released videotape, shot on July 25, shows ACORN staffers explaining to the pair how they can hide the woman's professed work — prostitution — and get a loan that will help them establish a brothel.

James O'Keefe, a 25-year-old independent filmmaker, posed as the pimp while visiting the ACORN office, accompanied by 20-year-old Hannah Giles, who posed as the prostitute. On a videotape provided to FOXNews.com, they are seen receiving guidance to establish the woman as the sole proprietor of a bogus company to mask the nature of her business.

Many thanks to Andrew Breitbart at Breitbart.tv for breaking this story and for making this video available.

Here's the video: Parts I & II

We're ALL Joe Wilsons now!

Sorry that he was pressured to apologize. He spoke the truth and virtually all of congress knows it; even the president. Show your support for Rep. Joe Wilson by going to his site and while you're there send him a few bucks. As I write this, his official site is so busy it's not even available. What does that tell you, America?

He's getting way more support than the rest of the sycophants on the hill who support the errant president or at least feigned to support him last night. God bless him for his courage! Hopefully it won't be stifled in the ongoing fight.

Now go to the folks who are offering free ‘I’m With Joe Wilson’ T-shirts to see if you can win a world class T-shirt.

We're all Joe Wilson's now!

A Ramirez Double Play!

My first Michael Ramirez double play! This guy's good!

ACORN Corruption & Sleeze

Thanks to Andrew Breitbart at BigGovernment.com for posting these videos. Thanks to Glenn Beck for taking this national on his radio program Thursday. As you watch these videos, keep in mind ACORN is and has been the recipient of BILLIONS of dollars thanks to our current administration. Yes, BILLIONS!!

Furthermore, let's not forget Mr.Obama's ties to ACORN.

Mark Levin's Quote of the Day

Taken from Mark Levin's best selling book, Liberty and Tyranny:
"The Statist wants Americans to see themselves as backward, foolishly holding to their quaint notions of individual liberty, private property, family and faith, long diminished or jettisoned in other countries." (page 18)

Glenn Beck: "Meet Cass Sunstein"

Do you know Cass Sunstein? He's President Obama's Regulatory Czar. Do you what he regulates and do you know what he stands for? Watch this:

Rep. McHenry wants all 'czars' to testify

Major kudos to Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.), who wants all of the president's appointed 'czars' to testify before Congress:
Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) on Wednesday called for President Obama's "czars," or appointed high-level advisers, to testify before Congress about their "authority and responsibilities" in the executive branch.

The president's "czars" have become a point of controversy among his opponents because they do not have to be confirmed by the Senate as cabinet-level officials do.

McHenry wrote to committee chairman Edolphus Towns (D-N.Y.) and ranking member Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) asking the appointed officials to testify.

"If the czars have high-level, decision-making authority as their titles would indicate, then it is my concern that their appointment without Senate approval represents a circumvention of our Constitutionally-mandated confirmation process," McHenry, who is a member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said in his letter.

Czars were in the spotlight again after "green jobs" czar Van Jones' resigned this weekend. It was revealed that Jones made harsh comments about Republicans and signed a "truther" petition alleging that the government played a role in the 9/11 attacks..
Additionally, he is an admitted communist.

I greatly admire Rep. McHenry for taking this stand, but where are the other 197 republican representatives who should be standing alongside Rep. McHenry demanding answers about the constitutionality of these powerful appointments

Big Govt in the Examination Room (and every other room!)

Is He Beating a Dead Horse?

Michael Ramirez must see that Obamacare isn't quite dead yet, or we wouldn't have to call PETA.

Hocus Pocus by Focus: Then and Now

What better way to cap off this Labor Day weekend but by watching and listening to the inimitable group Focus doing their "out there," song, Hocus Pocus.

Hey...it's MY blog and I can play what I want!

Here's the live rendition from 1973. TURN IT UP! TURN IT WAY UP!!!

And here they are in 2007. My how we age!

Okay; so we're not the "greatest generation!"

Milton Friedman Explains "Greed" to Phil Donahue

Mark Simone played this today while filling in for Hannity. Milton Friedman teaches Phil Donahue a few basics about how economies work. It's good!

Sgt. Friday Lectures President Obama

Major hat tip to Lucianne.com for posting this brilliantly done video. It's MUST SEE TV! Those of you under 35 or so probably won't remember the 1950's-60's TV series Dragnet starring Jack Webb as Sgt. Friday. Guess you just had to be there!

Seen On a San Antonio, TX Gas Pump

At least some oil companies are alerting customers of the impending financial doom if the radical Cap and Trade Bill is passed. Like Obamacare, it will utterly transform America as we know it by taxing virtually everything, thereby causing massive supply deprivations resulting in higher prices.

I took this photo in San Antonio, TX this morning while gasing up. Every gas station should be posting similar warnings. They should also be boldly displaying how much customers are paying for taxes on each gallon of gas.

Maybe Big Govt has been discouraging this type of disclosure...ya think?

We can make a difference, but only if we DO something!

List of President Obama's 'Czars'

Hat tip to POLITICO.com for the current list of White House Czars. I'm thinking citizen journalists, bloggers, talkers and reconnoiters of all sorts might want to pick and choose their favorite Czar and do some vetting of our own. Here's the list. We need to go to work to see from whence they came:
Afghanistan Czar: Richard Holbrooke

AIDS Czar: Jeffrey Crowley

Auto recovery Czar: Ed Montgomery

Border Czar: Alan Bersin

California Water Czar: David J. Hayes

Car Czar: Ron Bloom

Central Region Czar: Dennis Ross

Domestic Violence Czar: Lynn Rosenthal

Drug Czar: Gil Kerlikowske

Economic Czar: Paul Volcker

Energy and Environment Czar: Carol Brower

Faith-Based Czar: Joshua DuBois

Great Lakes Czar: Cameron Davis

Green Jobs Czar: Van Jones (Bye bye!)

Guantanamo Closure Czar: Daniel Fried

Health Czar: Nancy-Ann DeParle

Information Czar: Vivek Kundra

International Climate Czar: Todd Stern

Intelligence Czar: Dennis Blair

Mideast Peace Czar: George Mitchell

Pay Czar: Kenneth Feinberg

Regulatory Czar: Cass Sunstein

Science Czar: John Holdren

Stimulus Accountability Czar: Earl Devaney

Sudan Czar: J. Scott Gration

TARP Czar: Herb Allison

Terrorism Czar: John Brennan

Technology Czar: Aneesh Chopra

Urban Affairs Czar: Adolfo Carrion Jr.

Weapons Czar: Ashton Carter

WMD Policy Czar: Gary Samore

The republicans in Congress, regardless of their numbers, need to be vociferously questioning the constitutionality of these Czars who are acting above and beyond the checks and balances of the other branches of government. The republicans need to have a lot more of the outrage that the New Media, the town hall meeting attendees and the Tea Party people are exhibiting from coast to coast.

Wake up, Congress! Americans are getting fed up with what we're seeing and with what we're NOT seeing!

Tea Party Express Rolls into Big D

A conservative estimate of 3000 people came out to meet and greet the Tea Party Express which is winding its way to Washington D.C. It was an enthusiastic welcome and a huge success for everyone involved. There was no trace of any ACORN rabble rousers or union thugs. No sign of any whacked out leftists pretending to be whacked out conservatives. There were no fights or confrontations and happily, no one had any fingers bitten off.

There was, however, a vast number of "bitter clingers" in attendance. It was a warm and safe place filled with all kinds of love; well, except for those who are trying to transform America into Amerika.

"Urine--or You're Out!"

Just got this email from a friend. It's priceless and WAY too logical for Big Govt:
Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. So, here is my Question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass - doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'. Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though. Some thing has to change in this country -- and soon!!!!!!!
