Go Ask Alice

Ya gotta love Alice Cooper. Especially if you're sick of presumptuous court jesters, er, arrogant entertainers who actually think we care what their political views are. Here's what Alice has to say about the matter:

If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal."

"Besides," he continued, "when I read the list of people who are supporting Kerry, if I wasn't already a Bush supporter, I would have immediately switched. Linda Ronstadt? Don Henley? Geez, that's a good reason right there to vote for Bush."

I've never been a big Alice Cooper fan, musically speaking, but having seen him on several occasions in his hometown of Phoenix actively involved in local and national charities, I have alot of respect for his civic involvement and his business accomplishments. Alice is real popular in Phoenix aside from his musical endeavors. I suspect he will gain even wider popularity for speaking out about the onstage political antics of his cohorts.
