Good Summer Books
Big books usually come out in the fall and winter for marketing purposes. Seems to me there are some excellent books out right now that have been touted on the talk shows.
Dennis Prager interviewed Dr. Morris E. Chafetz today to discuss his book, Big Fat Liars; not to be confused with, well,... just remember Big Fat Liars. Dr. Chafetz also wrote The Tyranny of Experts and both books are on my "get" list. The premise of both books is how the media, politicians and experts, in general, manipulate the general public in every conceivable way for illegitimate reasons. This guy could become one of my mentors. From what I heard today in his interview, it's very apparent that he has a finely tuned BS meter.
His latest book is listed on the right hand side of this page. Buy it and read it!
