Refinery bill fails...But Why?
America is wondering why the hell refineries aren't coming out of the ground in every logical location. Here's why! It's because Congress hasn't yet felt enough heat to pass an emergency bill that would allow refineries to be built RIGHT NOW!
Republicans have become democrats and democrats are now accurately behaving like the socialists they've always been. Conservatives are no longer an entity in Congress. There may be some on the fringes, but they have been rendered irrelevant. At least, that's the way it seems and in politics perception is reality.
What is REALLY going on in Washington? Are we the people, just being totally disregarded? Is there a nefarious hidden agenda that America would not tolerate?
I don't believe that leftists are in a majority in this country, yet, but you would never know that by the way the emasculated republicans are acting.
We've got trouble, boys and girls, unless some bold conservative leadership comes to the fore, sticks up for what is right and seriously upholds the Constitution.
Yes, there is right and there is wrong and what's going on in this country regarding oil exploration and production, illegal immigration and unbridled government growth is absolutely wrong.
Politicians are scurrying around in a desperate attempt to save their jobs by trying to appease the voter in a short term way. Some of the "smart guys" in Washington thought they could buy us off for one hundred pretaxed dollars...Puhleeeeese...No more insults, no more blaming "Big Oil," no more lies. Just fix the problem by allowing exploration in Anwar and off the California and Florida coasts and let the refineries be built...right now!
And cut gas taxes. Politicos want an immediate fix and this is it, but they can't bear to do with less like their constituents do on a daily basis.
