Today is The 17th of Tammuz

A caller on Hugh Hewitt's show just mentioned that today is the 17th of Tammuz on the Hebrew calendar.

According to the caller and the above linked website, this day is significant on many levels to Jews around the world. It is a day of fasting and mourning and one of beseeching God.

Ironically, today was the first time the port city of Haifa was rocketed by Hezbollah and the war has been stepped up substantially by Israel.

I wonder if Hezbollah even has a clue with Whom they are taunting.

Yoni Tidi, an Israeli, Israeli insider and regular caller on Hewitt's show indicated that from what he gathers (and he seemed to speak knowingly) that by this time Monday, Syria will not have known what hit them.
