Too many choices?
Be very wary of those who lament about having too many choices. Think about it. Why would anyone make such a claim? Those who have lost influence, status, ratings or money to new and more competitors certainly would like to see fewer choices, right?
I bet CBS News would like there to be fewer choices. Go ahead and include all of the MSM in the list of lamentors. The list goes on and on in virtually every field of endeavor.
Monopolies give us no choice whatsoever and where there is no competition the consumer suffers. Stood in line at the Post Office lately? Or for that matter, remember the "good old days" of the Big Three Networks?
