Mexico Blames US for their "gun problem"
The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram is reporting an infuriating situation which is far too common in this administration.
Mexico, it seems, is complaining that we, the United States, are to blame for the gang violence in Mexico because they believe the gangs are getting guns from us.
Our response? Why, we give credence to their whining and send Atty General Gonzales to Mexico to meet with them regarding this matter. We not only legitimized their complaint, we told them we would look into the matter.
So instead of telling the Mexican govt that we are no longer going to tolerate the entry of Mexican drugs, gangs and waves of illegal aliens into OUR country, we're telling them we will look into their problem of illegal weapons with not so much as an attempt for a quid pro quo!
THAT, my friends, is why the majority of Americans are at odds with the arrogant politicians who insist on ignoring the catastrophe that is our border problem...north and south!
Who is to blame for the arrogance perpetrated by an empowered, corrupt Mexican government who can now dictate US policy?
That blame can be placed squarely on the stooped shoulders of our weakened and debilitated politicians who refuse to stand up for our own rights. Shame on them! Shame on us for voting them into office!
