Note to Moussaoui: It's a little too late to do the right thing now!
Today, Moussaoui asked to withdraw his guilty plea. Heh heh! In the words of that great Tanya Tucker tune, "It's a little too late to do the right thing now."
He must have thought he got off easy at the end of his sentencing hearing when he didn't get the death sentence. Maybe when he saw his new digs at the federal "supermax" maximum security prison for incorrigibles, he had a change of heart.
Here's the deal, Moussaoui; (not that you'll ever have the freedom to read this), when you lie under oath in a court of law, the jury tends to take you seriously, even though they felt sorry enough for you to save your sorry ass from the death penalty. Maybe it's for the best...That you're incarcerated in a man made hell for the rest of your life as opposed to a merciful death by sedation.
What were your last recorded words in court, once again? Weren't they along the lines that you won and America lost in your self agrandized little way?
Guess it didn't take very long for you to see that you blew it! Have fun in solitary confinement.
