Rasmussen: Only 20% want the "immigration" bill
First of all, it's NOT an immigration bill! It's a bill that instantly legalizes however many illegal aliens are currently in this country plus all their relatives. We keep hearing the number of illegals as being 12 to 20 million illegals being here. Mostly we're hearing 12 million.
Whenever I hear Big Media or Big Gov't foisting big numbers off on us, I'm always suspicious. Where do they get that number? Isn't it in Big Gov't's best interest to estimate the very lowest number of illegals?
I'm digressing, of course, as I'm want to do, so before digressing further, you need to see the latest Rasmussen Report which says only 20% want the so-called "immigration bill."
Go there and if only cursorily, take a gander. It's very telling.
If the arrogant politicians have the gall to pass this bogus bill, it will prove they don't give a wit what Americans really want.
20% want this bill passed! What a pitiful number! Granted, Harry Reid's poll numbers are even more pitiful (19% favorable...), but then consider who his faithful constituents must be!
The gloves need to come off, folks. It's time to stop playing nice like the Bush administration has tried and failed to do via the "new tone."
The new tone has failed. It's another term for compromise and compromise always means that conservatives must yield to the libs. It's never vice-versa, which is why republicans have lost the conservatives.
